Q: How do you suggest preparing if you don’t have a microwave?

  • A: Hello! Appreciate your question on how to best prepare our grilled cheese sandwiches. If you do not have a microwave, you can take out of your freezer and place in your refrigerator a few hours before you plan to prepare so that it has a chance to thaw out a bit before you place in the toaster. One defrosted, please place in your toaster and cook according to the instructions on the package. Cook for one cycle in your toaster at Med/High setting. The sandwich will be hot after toasting so please use caution. Thank you and enjoy!!

  • A: Hello from Lily's Toaster Grills! Thank you for your question. We do not recommend eating any variety of our grilled cheese sandwiches without going through the recommended preparation instructions on the back of package. When you place in your toaster (or air-fryer), you will get a warm, crispy outside with gooey cheesy inside. Without heating, you will not have this experience. Toaster Directions: 1) Remove sandwich from plastic wrap. 2) Microwave for 30 seconds. 3) Toast! Set your toaster to medium-high and toaster for one cycle (depending on your toaster). Thank you!

    Kind of close.

You can customize it and add your ingredients in between. I added to my kids tiffin as is and they loved it. Yes, they were tasty, easy to prepare, perfect for lazy days, loved by whole family. But would I buy it??? Maybe in different flavor. But I can make it at home from a slice of bread and cheese.

    The sandwich is ok

The sandwich is very flat. The bread is crispy but the cheese doesn’t have much flavor. I would probably not buy this again because this is such an easy thing to make at home for a fraction of the price.

The bread did seem squished, and I would have put more cheese if I made my own grilled cheese. But you cannot beat how crazy easy these are. In a few minutes I had a tasty meal for two that took almost no effort to prepare. I would definitely get this again to have an easy, tasty, fast meal ready to go.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lily's Toaster Grills is a frozen grilled cheese sandwich. It's convenient if you have access to a toaster or air fryer away from home. I followed the directions for both options and found (with my particular appliances) that the time was too long. My sandwiches were much to hard for my taste, so that's something to keep in mind. These are pre toasted so I would have liked to see microwave directions. I expected a buttery taste but didn't detect any. These were kind of bland as far as grilled cheese goes. All of these things considered I could have made a better tasting, faster grilled cheese on my own.
