I really wanted to like the Taylor Farms Mini Chopped Caesar Salad Kit because the smaller portion size is such a great idea. Unfortunately, the quality just wasn’t there for me. The lettuce tasted chewy and not fresh at all. I checked the expiration date and it was still five days away when I bought it, and I ate it the very next day, so it definitely wasn’t sitting around too long on my end. Love the convenience of the mini kit, but I won’t be purchasing it again due to the freshness and texture issues.

It was all brown and rotten

I’ve gotten this twice this week & it’s been so crisp & tasty! The size is perfect as an individual portion for a side

I picked 3 bags on May 2. All 3 said best if used by May 3. I opened all 3 bags on May 4. 2 of the 3 bags had mostly rusty brown lettuce and I was unable to eat them

It expired next day

We loved this little salad! We were able to make two side salads from one bag!

I like to get these to keep for quick lunch or dinners. You just need to add a protein. A great fast and affordable meal

A lot of the lettuce was obviously browned/starting to spoil. I would have preferred shopper reach out to see if I was interested in a different product.

This is great. Just the right size for lunch & a good price. The dressing is yummy & the salad is always crunchy fresh.

The bag of salad was brown and expired. I ordered thru drive up. I was able to catch the associate. She took them back and they only had one that wasn’t expiring. Only one bag was replaced and I am unable to get refunded for the second bag that was bad online.

As someone who eats the regular chopped Caesar practically every day for lunch, I just HAD to try this. I’m on a clean eating journey & alway look for ways to add more protein. Here’s the thing: the regular bag has 5g per serving, this has 7g. Not a huge difference, so I’m not going to feel bad going back to the other one (I add tons of chicken anyway!). This one has whey protein in the dressing, & somehow they’re protein croutons. At first, the dressing tasted just about the same (despite being WAY thicker… but don’t worry, it mixes together just fine). The croutons are a little dryer or more powdery, or something? Similar flavor as the original but not AS seasoned. I didn’t mind it until I’d eaten about 1/4 of it. There’s a strange aftertaste left in my mouth now! It’s kind of chemical-like, or maybe extra garlicky and tangy like lemon? I always add chicken, cucumber & red onion to my Caesar salad kits, so it’s nothing I added. I think it’s the dressing! Blech. Now I can’t finish it. Luckily the salad was fresh, green & crunchy. I looked at the mini Caesar kits (regular) and all the lettuce looked brown. Wish target checked their salad bags more often, and not just the date! Those were marked a week out & still went bad. So be careful with this one. It’s probably an acquired taste.
