Mobile Pixels DUEX® Plus DS 13.3-In. 1080p Portable Laptop Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got single 14”size monitor. While the quality of monitor itself is great, I am not keen on the mount. The monitor base is mounted by 4 magnets that stick to body of laptop screen. One magnet lost its adhesive after I tried to separate two magnets that attached together right upon opening the magnet case. I appreciate the power of magnetic field but now I am one magnet down and because of it the mount of flimsy. Another downside of using magnets is that I can’t more this monitor from laptop to laptop after adhering magnets to one or laptop. I got it thinking I could use it on personal and work laptop and not can only use on work laptop. When I take it off to only use laptop the magnets rub on inside of laptop bag and ok Merle I will loose them (now only three are adhered) eventually. All and all I with the mount mechanism had different set up from magnets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Duex DS! It makes working remotely and from anywhere - a desk, the couch, the backyard - so easy. It's easy to attach to your laptop and lightweight. I absolutely love it!

Great alternative for second screen when traveling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My unit broke after falling on my desk from about 4 inches. The screen is cracked and I have not heard back from the support. The quality of the display is great, but the construction is very flimsy, which is not good for something that is supposed to be carried over a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the mobile pixel duo since 2020 and upgraded to the Duex Plus this year. Cons: I love the monitor itself but was very disappoint to see video is no longer possible from a single USB-C to USB-A cord. Your options are to run it using USB-C to USB-C or use two cables to connect via usb-a and hdmi. This feels like a huge downgrade to me. This isnt an issue of the technology not being able to do it, because the previous model worked just fine on USB-A. The cord that comes with it is way too long. So now my choice is to buy a new shorter coiled cord that is USB-C or stick with the ridiculously long cord. Pros: The monitor itself is great. I am loving the slightly bigger screen and the new magnets. I also love the auto shutoff when you slide the extra monitor closed. The hinge seems a bit sturdier than the previous model but only time will tell on that. Overall I am happy but still very disappointed I have to replace my existing coiled cable I've been using for years.

Not only can I work from anywhere without seeing any dips in my productivity, I can also arrange the screen to work for me in landscape, portrait or presentation mode. It's so easy to attach and use and I love that I can keep it connected to my MacBook when toting it around. It's heavier than I expected but not a deal breaker for the advantages. Gets lots of attention and inquiry when out in public. Friends have already picked up their own!
