Thermos 40oz Stainless Steel Wide Mouth Hydration Bottle

Sooooo, I already have all all types of receptacles in various materials, BUT this one works! Wish I had bought a spare. This Thermos has gotten me through this extremely hot Summer. I’m able to leave it in the ungaraged car, and if I put plenty of ice my water, it’s still surprisingly refreshing after 24 hours! I’m missing the straw or flip top, BUT I think this design is much more sanitary! I tend to drip water when drinking out of it, but it’s a trade-off. Reasonable capacity - great for travel!

I ordered this with a delivery date of a June 12 which is days earlier than I needed it. Turns out I wouldn't receive it until over a week later? H.A.R.D. pass target this is the last straw.

Although the bottle is looks great and it seems to be of very good quality and keeps the beverage warm/cold, the cap/handle has a major flaw, it leaks around the handle joint. I will be returning it unfortunately.

I love this bottle. It is huge! I can pack a cold beverage the night before and the ice is still there the following day in the evening! It’s also awesome for hot beverages. The lid keeps the rim of the bottle clean. (I prefer a lid that covers the space where I drink from.) I have put it in the dishwasher many times and it still looks like new! It is super easy to take the silicone seal off, so that you can clean it thoroughly. I have had so many water bottles that have seals that are complicated or hard to remove. I have the saddle color and it’s awesome! Way to go Thermos!

I kid you not, I filled this with boiling water for tea on Friday evening to have for the weekend, along with some extra one-serving thermoses; I opened this on Sunday morning to refill my small thermos, and the tea was still comfortably well-above lukewarm! I was not disappointed the slightest. Thinking of buying a second one before long. I only wish it had a flip-up pouring spout on the lid.

The only water bottle ive ever had that actually keeps your water at exactly the same temperature it was when you put it in. Even after 40 hours. 10/10 the best.

I learned the hard way when I packed the bottle into a bag for a scuba diving trip that the seal does not work properly when the bottle is not upright. I filled the bottle, sealed the lid tightly and placed it laying down in my bag, but all of the water had been completely emptied into my bag by the time I unzipped it an hour later. I tested the bottle when I got home and confirmed that the seal doesn't actually "seal". I again filled the bottle, closed the lid tightly and tilted the bottle over my sink, and it started to drip heavily from the lid. This bottle was a complete waste of money. An expensive, stainless steel, "sealed" water bottle shouldn't need to be carefully placed upright to avoid leaking.

I love this had to buy a second one I use it for my infants water for baby bottles when we are out and about. Love the rubber bottom helps keep it from falling over. Seals well and keep heat for many hours.

It’s pretty heavy duty, however older keeps things cold for the day. By night or the next morning it’s warm water in there. Easy to clean since the neck is wide so that is definitely a plus.

This is a great heavy duty thermos. I’ve used it for both hot and cold items and it keeps both so well. I even dropped it on accident and no sign of scratches or dents. I’d order a lid with maybe a straw for beverage uses but if you’re using it for sharing food/beverage then you may or need one.

As always, Thermos doesn't disappoint. I used it for cold water for the scorching weather here in AZ. It retained ice cold overnight. Also tested it with hot soup. It retained temps very well also! I'll be using it quite often.

This is a sturdy Thermos product. It withstood rolling around in the trunk of our van for several hours without a single ding or scratch. I love that the bottom is rubberized so it doesn’t scratch other surfaces, is quiet and stays put. The wide mouth makes it much easier to clean as does the removable ring in the lid. And most importantly it keeps liquids ice cold!

Whoever does the dishes in your house will thank you for getting this. Why? You can actually clean all the way down inside without a bottle brush. Seriously I can’t tell you how many annoying brushes I have been through cleaning reusable water jugs. I’m SO happy to have found a wide mount thermos that I can clean properly! And if that isn’t enough for you, then it’s also important to know that so far I have had zero leak issues. The rubber ring comes off so you can clean but does a great job sealing off the liquid so it doesn’t immediately spill out everywhere. I love the heavy duty feel and look. I just have nothing bad to say about it. I need to by more to replace all the other old containers/ bottles that I have.

This is a beefy bottle! I like the grippy textured handle and the soft bottom protection. It's huge which is great for a big drinker. It's spillproof and rugged for sure. I haven't used it for anything hot yet but it'll be great for coffee or hot cocoa when the weather turns colder. I wish it fit in a cupholder but we can't have it all! Some of us have really strong preferences about bottles (this does not have a sip or straw top if you're one of those)

I have been very happy with this Thermos! I've been using a 30 oz water bottle and wanted something bigger for days when I'm out of the house and this has been perfect. The wide mouth makes it easy to get my ice in there and it stays cold for so long. The handle and the bottom have a texture that makes it easier to open and close and so the bottle grips to the surface and doesn't slip around. The lid isn't the easiest to get on and off but it almost makes me feel better and more confident that it won't be leaking. I haven't used it for anything hot yet but could definitely see filling it with coffee to share. Easy to clean which is always a plus. Would definitely recommend!

I love this water bottle. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a wide mouth opening and not a straw. I am an elementary teacher, and I noticed having this water bottle during the first week of school that I didn't drink as much water as I normally do. I have very quick moments in between instruction to take sips of water, and having the turn the knob to open it, drink, then turn the knob to close it took way more time than just picking up my water and drinking. I know it may sound silly, but those precious few seconds matter in the classroom. Also, you have to line the lid just right for it to close properly. As an everyday or special situation water bottle, I would give this 5 stars all day. It is durable, easy to carry, has a no-slip bottom, and it feels good in your hands. I tilted it many times and it never leaked. I highly recommend this if you don't care about the straw part!

Love this little thermos! The matte black makes it perfect for my husband to borrow or to use myself. I really love the carrying handle - not a little one like on water bottles. Definitely works to keep drinks cold, haven’t tried anything hot yet.
