    Runs small

    I bought 4 crew neck 3Q sleeve tunics for spring. I have several of these tunics from past years. My old tunics fit perfectly. These are too tight in the sleeve and hips. Very disappointing. How hard can it be to maintain consistent sizing??? Oh, and the fabric is very thin.

    Beware of White!

    I am a mid-60s woman who has had way too many clothes for the past 40 years. I’ve been enjoying this style since I no longer have a butt and like to pretend tunic tops hide this fact. It’s obvious that different colors are from different vendors. I’m tall and thin with broad shoulders. I could not move my arms in the black medium, it was cut so much narrower in the shoulders. Some colors are a good fabric weight; the WHITE is very poor quality. To test, I put my hand underneath and am able to distinguish my fingernail through the fabric. I believe in kindness, and I am not going to subject the general population to a view of my upper mid-60s body should I wear this. In the humid South it isn’t feasible to wear anything underneath. I don’t understand how this horrid fabric was ever approved. I really like the colors that are good quality and fit, unfortunately, those are hit or miss. Black, size up. Light blue is good. Other favorites are no longer available.

    We will see how it does in practice

    I got these for summer wear as an under/over layer (would prefer crew or turtleneck). or alternatively as a hot weather nightgown. 3/4 sleeves appealed. Cools off at night here. VERY thin fabric but supima is nice to wear. I need pure cotton next to my skin but didn’t want another polo shirt. Roll on summer!

    Toasted Rye Breton Stripe

    This Toasted Rye Breton Stripe top has a hole in the front after washing and wearing only once. The fabric is thin. I have a a number of these Supima Cotton Tunics and Tees and have not had this problem in the past. I stitched the hole and wear this tunic around the house. I do wash knits in a laundry bag, so it was handled gently. I'm just disappointed and expecting perfection which is not possible because we do not live in a utopia.

    Sizing issues

    I ordered 2 of these items in XS. One is “true to size,” but the other is way too small. More like “XXS”. Additionally, material qualities are not the same either. I like that design, but I wouldn’t rebuy it.

    This top is perfect for me!

    I'm a shrinking old lady who technically doesn't need a tunic top any more but I feel most comfortable in them because it's what I have always worn. I loved the print in this top, which I noticed is currently sold out, but the most important thing to me is that LE had the top in prints, not just solid colors. I was also surprised that the weight of the Supima Cotton wasn't exceptionally light. I was afraid, given the present condition that retailers find themselves in, it might be super-light and it was tolerable. I wore a heavy supima Cotton jacket over it but I took it off and I wasn't cold, both places I have worn it. I bought another print and it fit the same way! Washed it in cold water and air-dried, as I do all our cotton knits. Hope to find some similar tops with long sleeves. I will be able to wear this in Spring and Fall, as well!
