VELCRO Brand Industrial Strength Heavy-Duty Fasteners, 2" x 25 ft, Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These strips are the best. I had a large picture to hang in my family room and didn’t want to use a picture hanging kit. I don’t like to put holes in my wall if I can avoid it. These strips were easy to put on and holds very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this particular package of Velcro strips for 1 item - it's a power strip that I wanted to attach to my wall without having to screw it in. These honestly do not hold as well as I would have liked them to. The power strip IS stuck to the wall, but it's horizontally positioned and it is leaning downwards, like the top of the Velcro strip is not attached at all, just the middle and bottom. I hope that makes sense. I'm concerned that it will eventually pull all the way away from the wall and fall off. There are only 3 cords plugged into it, it doesn't seem that heavy, and I used a strip that was almost as long as the power strip itself. I would not use these strips for that again, but I'm sure I can find other uses for it around the house. I'll use up this package but I'm not sure I'd buy it in the future unless they made it a bit stronger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super tough velcro. This fuzzy side is just regular fuzzy velcro, but the "hooks" side is the organized dual-lock stuff. I used it to mount some mirrors over some non-working fireplaces, and it does the job! The glue is super thick and sticky, and requires 15 min to set. I was able to remove the velcro and reposition it before the 15 min were up, but after that it's pretty much stuck. 5ft x 2in is a lot of velcro, especially if you cut it up into smaller bits, just know that the glue will gum up your scissors. There are a few kinks in it, but the glue is so good that you can't tell once the velcro is firmly stuck to a surface. The only downside is that there is some thickness to the velcro, so keep that in mind if you want to mount something flush to the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this isn’t as strong as I originally expected based off of the picture on the box showing it holding up lawn tools. I appreciate that I can cut off how much I need so I don’t have to waste any but it genuinely isn’t much stronger than regular Velcro and it definitely didn’t hold 10 lbs. i was finally able to finagle two rows of tape one under the other to get two of my lawn tools to hang but I’m not sure how long they will stay there. This would be useful for jobs that are not heavy duty but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked to see this actually holds weight! It was sticky which helped and I used it in my garage. MUST CLEAN SURFACE first. Don't bother trying without. You'll ruin ur velcro. I tried it the hard way. First pieve garbage! The rest went well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These small straps are perfect if your tired of using zip ties. Instead of having to cut zip ties every single time with these straps you can reuse it over and over it again. Only problem is that I would want them to be a little bit bigger.

I love how I can cut the size I need so I can use small pieces on lighter items and larger pieces on heavier items. I haven't found anything it won't hold and the garage is so much more organized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As most people probably have used Velcro in some form or capacity, what more can be said about it's usefulness and function for a number of different application. This 'Industrial Strength' version really does appear to have 'staying' power than lighter weight versions of the product. I used this to affix an iPad to an aluminum interior travel wall for use as a battery monitoring display. My original intent was to take it down while towing the trailer to avoid any potential risk of it falling off. However, after putting it in place, it takes significant force to remove it from the wall, and I have complete confidence it will stay in place during cross country trips. Excellent product! Make sure to clean both surfaces with alcohol prior to sticking the adhesive side of both strips to your mounting surfaces. Excellent product and will be more uses in the RV as the travel season progresses!

I also have used it for my remote controls…put the backing on the side of the couch and the other on the back of the remote…works well on walls and microfiber for me so far, and will continue finding ways to utilize it

I used to hold up different larger items like the extension cord strip to keep my wires from just dangling behind the tv. I was skeptical it would hold but it did. It says can hold up to 10 lbs but haven’t tried anything that heavy yet. No doubt it will.

The adhesive backing is truly industrial strength - meaning, don't use it on interior painted walls if you ever plan to remove it since it will most likely peel off the paint upon removal! It's truly weather resistant and so far, has worked well on metal and wood. Make sure you clean the area you're planning to attach it to before using - that helps ensure it will adhere properly. But this stuff is super strong and holds! Will be using this for every project I can from now on!
