Disgusting takes like chemicals

Don't buy! These sounded so good, I was wrong. They don't taste like chocolate, they don't taste like pistachio, they have a weird almost soy sauce type taste to them. Do yourself a favor and try anything else.

I liked the peanut butter chocolate flavor of these, so I thought I'd try the pistachio chocolate too, and I wouldn't recommend them! About these bars in general: I like the crispy crunchy texture, and the amount of chocolate on the bottom. The PB+chocolate flavor is subtle, but enjoyable. The pistachio bars, however: At least the ones I got, had an overpowering taste/smell of alcohol/fumes that was very off-putting. I couldn't taste anything but that. I threw the 3 unopened ones away after tasting the first one I opened. I googled around to see if anyone else had a similar experience, and some people theorized that there was too much pistachio extract (which contains alcohol) in them. My guess is there was some kind of quality control issue with the batch I got, but I'm not willing to spend the money on another box I may end up throwing away to check. Tldr; skip this flavor, go for the PB+chocolate.

Delish, no weird taste. I usually struggle with the protein bars being too dense/heavy. These don’t make me feel overly full or sick. They’re light but still make my stomach feel full. And no weird protein or alcohol taste!!

These are my favorite protein snacks so far! they are crunchy, tasty but not too sugary, and I feel much better digestion when I snack on these. Helped me lose weight as well. super tasty too

Tastes HORRIBLE!

I really enjoyed these, so much so that I am looking to reorder. I like the puffed rice texture as opposed to your typical chewy or chalky protein bar. The low sugar content is a plus for me as well! Not sure I taste much pistachio, but looking forward to getting more and trying some additional flavors.

Good macros and really tasty, just kind of expensive for what they are

I would give this a negative review if that were possible, I was that disappointed in this product. there is not even a hint of pistachio or chocolate and no sweetness at all, not even a subtle sweetness. The aftertaste as some have described was unbearable. Think umami/savory when you're expecting sweet, almost like soy sauce. I lost my appetite completely after one bite. I don't know how these things got through testing at the manufacturer. They are inedible. I am throwing the rest of the box away.

Will buy again!

Very strange aftertaste

They have a nice crunch to them but they weren’t what I was expecting and I didn’t really taste any pistachio. I can see people liking them but I wish it was more rich with a hint of pistachio butter.

I love pistachio anything, and there don’t have any hint of pistachio. I don’t like the taste at all and really wanted to.
