Easy to use, with heaps of features. This is encouraging me to play more golf, increasing my confidence and I save money for not going to the range. Hopefully they make more courses but there are 6 to play with. Great device!
The Launch Monitor That Could

I like the easy setup and portability of the launch monitor. I needed one that could be used outdoors at a reasonable price range and this one seemed to fit that well. It doesn't need special golf balls, the battery lasts super long and the statistics seems reasonable accurate.
One Change Would Push The R10 Past The Big Boys!

This offers ease of set-up and great data. Pairing it with a phone is good, a tablet is better. It's a wonderful unit for the price. But one enhancement in the software would elevate this unit beyond all others ... including Trackman. When used at an average driving range, the data becomes unreliable because of the quality of the range balls. There needs to be an adjustment applied of 10, 15, or 20% depending on whether you are using new range balls, newer and well used, and well used. My numbers varied wildly and having to sit down and recalculate my session defeats the purpose of the monitor. Happy to have it, but Garmin...make this change in your app and you can brag about it in your marketing. You're welcome,
Nice features, quality and ease of use.

I bought this a few weeks ago, seems pretty accurate except for my irons seem to be off by about 10-20 yards. Will check out support. Like the easy set up and size of unit. Had others, this seems more quality.

The product is great and fits easily into my golf bag. Only thing that could improve it is a ball flight tracker on the video. Other than that, it works great

I have had it about a month so far an not getting accurate results. I am working on better width in my barn to clear 20 foot in width. Also need to work on better lighting but not sure what to use for optimum results. It has been so hot I have not been able to try outdoors .

I bought this a few weeks ago and have played with most of the features. Overall it's a great launch monitor for its value. Ball flight and distances are not 100% accurate. Which is not a problem when using it range mode, but causes issues when playing in tournament mode.
Great for training and family fun!

Purchased our R10 a month ago and have had so much fun training and playing games with the family. Easy to set up and use. Definitely has started to help my knowledge of the game and the clubs I use.

I’ve had the Garmin R 10 for about a week and I absolutely love it and recommend it. Fantastic four club time game improvement, technique improvement easy to use easy to set up very good price super travel, friendly very compact all fits in a little case offers other Simulator apps that are fantastic. It’s great for the whole family just to hit and have fun. Also, the free version is very good accuracy I would give about 70 to 75%. I just noticed a couple things are off by like 50 so couple yards every once in a while saves money you don’t have to drive to the range. Pay for range balls coaching lessons. It’s just super convenient to have if you love golf, but don’t have the time or money to play every day and allows you to be able to golf and be swinging your golf clubs whenever you want and that’s huge for your golf game! The only thing that I’ve noticed is sometimes stuff a little inaccurate, but for the price in all the other things that helps with and gives information to you. It’s absolutely recommended.

Less accurate with higher ball speeds but works perfectly for my budget at home simulator. I use the demo version of e6 connection which provides a lot of data on my swing. Only down side is ball spin is estimated and not measured. All in all was definitely the right choice for me

I’ve had mine for a few weeks and it never gave me correct information. I’ve tried my friends at the club and theirs is great. Hoping mine will be replaced and all will be good.
Love it!

Received as an early Father’s Day gift. I had viewed every video regarding the R10, read every review online, and talked to a pro at our club who uses one in club fitting prior to asking for one and am very pleased with my selection. I have only used it at the club’s range and am impressed with its capabilities and the data collected. I’m seriously considering building a practice simulation bay centered around the use of the R10.
It is good if you only play with it yourself

I bought the R10 and then realized I cannot add additional profiles so I can play with my kids. Other than that it is an amazing tool.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

Would NOT recommend this product. It has to be lined up absolutely perfectly to work and even then it barely picks up your swing. For $600 it is not worth your money at all. Very hard to use
Absolutely love it

R-10 Better than lessons

For less than the cost of four one-hour golf lessons, the R-10 gives feedback on every swing during every practice session. Feedback is the breakfast of champions and R-10 provides feedback with every practice swing. For me, i want to get feedback on face and path to improve my ball contact. The R-10 tells me when my swing thoughts/changes/tweaks are effective. Using it all day every day. Simple to set up. More than accurate enough for my 20ish handicap.

I've had this and the mlm2pro. I find the mlm2pro to be more accurate, particularly with shot shaping, but the overall experience on this unit is much better and is overall quite a bit cheaper. Because of those two things im keeping this one. Its super easy to connect and get started and play. Thats a HUGE plus. Haven't tried RCT balls yet, might try those later. I use it mainly for a garage simulator, but have also taken it on the range to check how the simulator compares. Its definitely more accurate on the range. Overall the user experience is good even if accuracy could be a little better. For the price, not bad.

This unit is well worth the money..ez setup and very accurate..I would like to see an option for using Scicore or Almost golf "foam" balls. Maybe an update on the software and that is the only reason I did not give it a 5 .
