The basket is pretty sturdy and holds a nice amount of stuff. It did smell weird coming out the plastic, but it's just needed some airing out.

The material quality is strong and durable! I put it to use for my doggy toys but will definitely be purchasing another to store on the side of my bed for my magazines. I totally recommend!

It looks like the whole box is like some hard board wrapped in the fabric which helps it keep its structure vs it just being fabric.
