Grippy backing keeps them in place

Our toddler likes to move his placemat and plate around, spilling things in the process. With this placemat and a suction plate, everything stays where it belongs.

Placemat Love!

I love this placemat. It is thin, very sticky to the table without being unmanageable, protects the table, easy to wash. Helps my kids not struggle or spill their bowls and plates since they don't slip. Love them!

Great placemat

This placemat is so helpful in leaving the table a little less messy. When I put food on the placemat, it's also easier for my toddler to pick up since the food doesn't slide around the table.

Great for outdoor settings (with or without kids)

I was actually looking for weather proof placemats to use in summer on our terrace and I came across these. These were purchased for use by everyone who eats, not just kids. But these mats have a simple minimalist design that works perfectly with our outdoor tableware. They're waterproof, easy to clean and don't show any signs of wear.

I have it in the oatmeal color and really like it. It’s multipurpose for food, art, craft projects etc. I like the color & the ease of wiping to clean. Please make other sizes, that would be great!

Making meal time cleanup easier

We were struggling with our child wanting to spread food out on the counter instead of eating it off a plate. With the new placemat, we can bypass the bowl, and the mess of food transfer, by placing items directly on the mat. I was surprised how easy it was to roll up and clean at the sink. So much easier than scrubbing the counter hours later to get the dried on food bits off!

Honestly, I’m not impressed. It doesn’t stick well to the table and the green color is already fading in spots after only a couple of weeks. I love Lalo products, but this one is ‘meh’ in my opinion.

matt is of good quality and resists staining, we were hoping for something that gripped the table surface better / was harder for our toddler to peel off.
