Kids’ measuring guide

Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

Nice style but run short

I got these for my daughter but ended up returning them, the quality seemed good but I felt they ran short and she wasnt able to use them. I would have sized up but there were not other sized in store or online near me. The wide leg style is in though and had they fit her she would have loved them.

Fit weird, lines are also irritating ok skin

I originally wanted these because they are cheaper compared to other sweatpants but definitely try clothes on in store. They fit but in all the wrong ways tight around hips and butt and huge around the legs (to the point it just looks weird). I didn’t realize there were lines on the sweats until I got them and they feel horrible and irritating. I’m not going to be uncomfortable while wearing sweat pants so it’s a no from me. Overall they are okay quality and not bad for their price but just pay the extra ten or so dollars for clothes you’ll actually wear.
