Very greasy does not absorb and leaves glitter
I shower at night, so I applied this as a test when I was at home before using it for going out in the future. I liked how it made my skin look, but it did not absorb at all, just sat on the skin, and I didn't even use that much product. In addition to my legs, I put it on my arms, shoulders and chest. I had washed my hair, which is long and was wearing it down. From my hair touching my shoulders and arms, it absorbed the oil, and made my hair all greasy, even the next day when it was dry. I can't see being able to use this product when wearing my hair down, which I always do. I also would not call this shimmer, it is definitely glitter. The next day, my skin was still soft from having the oil on all night, but there were remnants of little glitters catching the light. I assume the rest of the glitter is on my sheets lol. The glitter also transferred to my face from my hands touching my skin, then my face, so be careful of that unless you want glitter all over your face.

Very sticky feeling. Never dries. Leaves oily residue with slight tint wherever you sit or touch. I wanted to love it, but it’s shiny like baby oil & never feels dry. I also didn’t notice a shade or tint much.

Like the original. Less product.
I love how subtle the shimmer is. With red, gold, and bronze glitter the oil gel leaves a sophisticated finish. My skin feels hydrated. The vanilla cocoa smell is mild and almost prefer the original scent. I took off a star because of the amount of product that was received when shipped. I am not sure if it was used or if they just didn’t fill the bottle all the way. I have attached a comparison picture from one use of the original and no use of the golden hour glow that I received in the mail.

No sparkle...only sad
Wanted to be sparkly and smell as good as the regular body gel but this one isnt even sparkly nor does it smell good and nothing like the original non sparkly version. It also doesn’t absorb into the skin as nicely as the og, leave a tacky almost greasy feel in certain spots. Unfortunate flop

Too smelly to use
I wanted to love this but the smell is so overpowering and not in a good way. It’s very chemical smelling. The moisturizer aspect of it was great but the smell made me stop using :/

Love the smell, not sure about the sparkles...
This smells amazing but it doesn't absorb quickly and is pretty sparkly! It's best if used at bedtime and with old PJ's because again, it doesn't absorb quickly.

I absolutely LOVE the Golden Hour Glow gel oil. I have very dry skin, so it absorbed nicely and left a gorgeous glow. I use this at night all over my body at bedtime; when I wake up my skin is still soft! I do agree with another reviewer who mentioned that a pump dispenser would work better. I was using Palmer’s Shimmer Radiance Body Oil but I like this so much better!

I love the lotion from the brand and don’t get me wrong the oil is amazing but for the SENSTIVE skin girlies. ITS A BIG NO. I thought maybe I was going crazy when my skin became so irritated after using this stuff and it’s almost to the point of discomfort. I tried it again for a second time and had same reaction. I’ve never had this problem. I’m sad I love their products
