PopSockets PopTop Cell Phone Grip and Stand Dichroic - Heart Iridescent

it's very disappointing. my base broke and it was cheaper to get an entire new popsocket than just the base from the website so i ordered this for pickup thinking the photos were super cute and i was immediately bummed when it was handed to me. it's so flat and unappealing. i wish i could at least get a refund so i can keep the base i need from it without going through an entire return. it's just. so ugly compared to what was shown in photos. does NOT match the picture whatsoever. it is extremely flat in the middle and the liquid doesn't even swirl around the whole star. it's barely squishy and appears almost like it's filled with milk. even trying to knead it and move the liquid around there's nothing you can do and the middle always stays flat and the liquid only stays on the edges. it should not look like this brand new, it looks like it's old and misshapen and dry. it has such a small amount of liquid it doesn't look even half filled or it's just that incredibly low quality. 15$ for this is a joke. it's so bad. it doesn't look at all what i expected it to look like. to top it all off it's barely "squishy" whatsoever, it's all just soft plastic so it doesn't even function well as a stand and i worry over time because it's such soft plastic it will burst or get horrendously scratched and damaged. i wish it were just hard plastic but in a star shape like the other tidepool ones. the only good part was that it came with a little Keychain so maybe i can put this on there and keep using my old poptop with the new base. idk. Just so unbelievably disappointing.

It’s really cool, it’s spins and the swirls that it makes is really cool. It’s pretty strong. No complaints

item is advertised as compatable with magnetic base - it isn’t. it’s adhesive only. you can buy a separate piece apparently to use it on the magnetic base, but the item itself is not. hope this helps others!

I bought the Monstera black and gold enamel leaf design and it was supposed to come with the matching black adhesive base like in the photos. Mine was unopened on purchase, and when I took it out of the package, the base was clear instead of black. I really wanted a black base but I don't want to be bothered in going back to the store again, so I'm using it. Popsockets always hold up well for me. I bought this to replace my old one that finally cracked. It lasted me a bit over 2 years.

The popsocket is underfilled and caves in in the center. It does not look as pictured. It’s still cute but definitely disappointing.

Popsocket often advertises inaccurate colors of their products. The top I got is not lavender like the photo, more pink peach in person. Annoying every time. The product itself works well. The rounded edges of tide pool line is nice and the glitter is fun.

The PopSocket appears to be considerably larger than initially expected, and the outer rim, which is intended to secure the gem, seems to be crafted from clear plastic, rather than silver as was originally perceived. Also, I had not realized that the 3D gem would prevent my phone from resting flat on any surface. I had considered returning the item, but unfortunately, I had already opened the packaging to test it on my device.

Love the dichroic heart! It looks gorgeous on my new iPhone! Glad Target had it because it was sold out on pop socket’s website!

It arrived damaged/broken idk it looks deflated and flat. Disappointed :(

I was so happy to find this in store. I love the clouds and glitter floating through it. I can’t have a phone without a pop socket.

Came with some stupid “free gift” ring to use instead of the base. Meaning all 3 parts came disassembled and they do not fit onto the pop socket top. Dumb, had to make extra trip to return. Don’t waste your time

This pop socket is so cool! I love the tide pool part where everything inside moves around. It all isn’t too big which is nice. My one complaint is how hard it is to put on - the center part kept spinning around which made in nearly impossible to lock into place.

I used to love pop sockets but they are really getting cheaply made. They no longer come as fully put together. I bought 2 and yet neither one was fully put together. The ring on it makes you think you can take that off. It made it so it came apart even more. I'm out $30.

Awful. I’ve bought many Popsockets over the years and know how to apply them. But this one is impossible. It’s attached to a small weird ring that will not come off, making it impossible to attach to my phone. What the heck? Why would they design it like this? And the instructions are completely worthless for this wonky design. Just awful. Returning. Don’t waste your money or time with this one! Even though it’s cute.

I love this popsocket! It is super cute and eye catching. It also is functional as it serves as a prop for my phone when I want to go handsfree.

So confusing and does not work? My first Pop Socket and it’s been a nightmare. It does not work. It doesn’t connect. It doesn’t untwist. There’s no way to stick it to the phone. Also, nobody said you also have to purchase a $20 base that is not included…. No wonder it doesn’t work! But it also defective or something because the key ring doesn’t come off.

Well I bought this through drive up. I opened and had an issue there was an additional pop socket ring that I wasn’t able to twist off to get it to adhere to the phone. My daughter and I tried many many times. I didn’t want to damage the socket and looked at the directions several times to no avail (directions said twist to 90 degrees it didn’t work and wasn’t able to move in the direction that instructions said. I decided to go to Target store where I bought it in Copiague and went to department where I bought it. A young lady helped me by looking for the exact item for me to exchange but the merch must’ve come in on the most recent truck so even though inventory said 2 there were none on the shelves. She kept trying till she got the pop ring off and I was able to adhere the pop socket to my phone. She was an excellent staff person not giving up and helped me so much in the 20 minutes I was there. Thank you Target for hiring such an excellent employee. She was about 21 years old.
