Macros, Great. Taste, Not So Much.

Macros, great. Taste? Absolutely not. This is flavored cardboard. This is literally only for an emergency situation where I didn’t hit my protein goal and don’t have enough calories left for the day or I’m in a hurry. Honestly, I could eat a 4 ounce serving of chicken and get the same protein, but it would actually taste good. The entire time I was eating it I kept getting different flavor. One bite would be salty, nutty, one bit of chocolate, sometimes fake sugar.. It had very little peanut butter or chocolate taste. Left fake sugary aftertaste. The texture isn’t terrible, but they’re really sticky. Don’t believe the hype about them tasting great. Compared to what? Cardboard? Sadness? Anyone who claims these taste “great” must have suffered first degree burns on their tongue.

I have never tasted such a great tasting protein bar in my life! I tried every flavor of Davids and they are all wonderful. But, I really love Peanut Butter chocolate chunk the best. You just have to try them, because you will not be able to get enough!

These taste okay. I limit how many I eat now that the ingredients include things they didn't originally. I would be lying if I said I was happy about those changes.
