This product works best at removing natural color from your hair, unnatural colors are a bit of a toss up when it comes to color removal. For example, if you’re dying your hair blue, you’re not going to get back to blond without doing some serious damage to your hair. This got some of the purple I had out of my hair, but left it a weirder color than I had before I used it… This COULD work for you, just do your own research first.

I bought this product without reading the reviews since I purchased it in store. It didn’t remove the semi permanent color I had in my hair and it bleached it in patchy areas. Terrible choice and now I’m once again facing the consequences of my own actions.

Do yourself a favor and shave your head and regrow it all before you destroy it with this product. Yes, it removed the black in my hair, however it continued and lifted my natural hair color underneath the color as well. My hair is now ruined after using this and I'll be crying for a while after this.

This is bleach. It is NOT a color remover.

DO NOT BUY. I bought this without reading the reviews (dumb Ik) but I’ve used color remover in the past with no issues. THIS IS BLEACH! NOT color remover. Absolutely fried my hair off and I had so much breakage after monnnnths of trying to grow out my hair.

It’s literal bleach I wish I looked at the reviews before purchasing. ruined the whole point of me trying to strip my hair of dye because the hair underneath wasn’t as light as what I have now. it’s also uneven asf

It took the color out. It's pretty much bleach without it saying it is. If you do use it make sure you get something to use in your hair to repair the damage it does. It dried out my hair. I need a deep conditioner to make my hair soft again.

Worked to get Arctic Fox hair dye off my already pre-lightened hair without further damaging it.

I had no luck removing bright pink hair dye with regular shampoo/conditioner, and clarifying shampoo didn't do anything either. I had used the Color Oops product with good results in the past, but noticed the box said it couldn't guarantee removal of pinks and purples. This product didn't mention it couldn't remove those colors. I did know it was bleach-based, but my options were limited. Part of my hair was already bleached because I wanted the pink to pop, but it did lighten my roots. The product had vague instructions (1pt activator to 2 parts developer, but no real measurements to use). My hair is also just below shoulder length (and pretty thin) and there wasn't enough product to cover my entire head. Further, it didn't fully remove the pink. There was still some leftover on my roots and the bottom third of my hair was still pink (the midsection was pretty clear). I'm not sure if it didn't all get removed because there wasn't enough product to fully saturate my hair or if the product isn't as effective as it claims. Because it is bleach-based and did fry my hair a bit, I don't want to go through the process again to try and remove the remaining pink, so I either have to go to a salon and fix my hair or redye it with a darker color and hope for the best. I really can't recommend the product, especially since those with longer hair or thicker hair will have challenges covering most of their hair with the product.

It's Bleach!! This is definitely a color remover if your trying to bleach your hair. This will remove color to an extent but it will also bleach your natural hair if you have new growth. It didnt completely lift the color. I should have just used the brand I usually use that smells like rotten eggs.

It’s practically bleaaach!! dont use this! Opt in for color oops instead! i know its stinky but thats better than to having bleached roots making it an UNEVEN hair color nightmare. it didnt even do what it says its supposed to do!! it only lightened my roots.

despite using exactly as directed for the dyes specified on the box, this absolutely didn’t work for me. more than that, it permanently damaged my hair. i could have simply bleached my hair, and it would have been less damaging than this. i’d suggest avoiding.

DO NOT BUY. I repeat, DO NOT. Shame on this company and target for even having this product available on the shelf. I followed the directions for semi-permanent hair color, and left it on for 10 minutes… completely bleached my once beautiful hair. I’m seriously considering legal action.

This is literal bleach. It says it in one small spot on the back of the box. I’m so upset, it melted my hair off. Leave on for an hour?! No way. I had it on 18 minutes. I’m so devastated. I lost almost all of my hair because it melted off. I’m so sad. I can’t afford to get professional health so I’ve just gotta suffer. It’s so unethical to call this simply a color remover and to not have bleach written all over the box.

My hair is literally green and damaged now. I left it on for only 10 minutes before I felt something was off. Do not get !

This was my first time ever using this I would always use color oops never had a problem. Wanted to try this and had no idea it has bleach 😠 my hair was a burgundy now my roots are BLONDE and still have lots of red tone… I look like a clown 🤡

Yes it’s a bleach but wow it works!! I had so much red and it get’s a lot out. Get two boxes this remover works!!

This destroyed my daughter’s hair, it was coming out in chunks! This wasn’t her first time dying or bleaching her hair but her first time using this product. Would never recommend this to anyone.

This color remover does contain bleach, it states it on the box and the amount so pls ACTUALLY read the box before buying, I used the color remover to remove my faded blue hair color and it took out quite a lot when other color removers wouldn’t even touch it, now it did not remove all of the color but a good enough amount. My hair afterwards after a good wash and using the hair mask returned back to its normal with very little obvious damage! Highly recommend if your hair holds onto dye and no other remove is even touching it

This is what I get for making a last minute hair decision. I have used color remover before from another brand and it has worked. I used this due to a splotchy dye job and not only did is not remove the color I wanted out well, but it completely bleached my hair and has basically ruined it. I have never seen my hair this damaged.
