The brush washes very well and held up to a 2nd use for oil based paint i used on an antique mid century modern desk. Overall i really recommend thus brush and will be buying more from the brand

The bristles are thin (in a god way), extremely soft and semi-flexible. With enough strength to hold whatever paint/stain you are using. Was hoping to use this to stain a project, then had a delay in getting the wood. But this is easily the nicest paintbrush I have in my kit. And as I replace things, I will try to do so with the Purdy brand.
