In addition to not holding the oil paint in the bristles without causing a dripping and splashing mess while applying oil paint, this is sufficiently stiff to paint the corners and edges of the cabinet frame face.

I am happy to say this was my first time using this style brush as I normally do more staining with a rag but I was very pleased with my results! I used this to stain some cabinets and the brush made applying the stain very easy and smoothly! I did not experience any puddling issues while using this brush which I have experienced using other brushes in the past! Clean up was a breeze by following the directions on the can after I was done staining and the brush looks like it ready to take on more products!!

My fiance and I used it to cut in and to paint the trim in our new house and it is honestly the best brush I've ever used for that type of job. We do a lot of DIY things, including painting, and it's amazing how quickly we could tell the difference between this brush and others we've used. It has truly held up very well during such a moderately large project. I would love to try other products from this brand and I will definitely look into purchasing more for our upcoming projects, which are many! 😀

There’s a little sticker on the paintbrush that says it was created by a certain person. I definitely like that. This brush is angled because it helps and makes it way more easier to paint the trim and baseboards. The bristles on this brush seem OK. I did notice that after a little bit of use some of the bristles seemed to veer out. I didn’t add a lot of pressure to it though.

Have you wait for cooler weather to paint as it is recommended to dry in temperature between 50-90°. The bristle feels super soft and durable. It is an angle brush, which will help with the crevices. The handle is thick and really fits in my hand. I would definitely buy their other products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Purdy White Bristle Extra Oregon paint brush works great on applying paint to my front door and trim. The downside is that it leaves hairs behind on the canvas. I had to go back and remove the hairs then repaint the areas when I removed the bristle hairs. It is lightweight, reusable, easy to use and safe for the environment. It did not cause strain to my wrist as I painted and is was not heavy at all. Cleaning the brush is quite easy and is ready to reuse when I need it. It comes ready to use right off the package; no installation required.

This brush holds the paint well and applies so smoothly, making the painting process a breeze. It’s two inches wide so coverage is great during application. It reaches the nooks and crannies while covering a good amount of surface area. This brush is lightweight and easy to handle. The quality bristles also ensure that no hairs will fall out and be left behind to sabotage your work. Not only does this brush apply paint well but in the future I can also use it for stains. I will definitely be purchasing more for use.
