Q: how many meals can you get from a 3.5 lb bag for a 2 year old cat

A: I think it it really matters your cats eating habits and size. My cats are both about 5.5 lbs and are 11 months old. The two of them eat through this bag in about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks. I fed them twice a day with about 3/4 of a cup per meal. I also mix in wet food so if ur only doing dry food you will likely run out faster.

A: It is dry food. There is a minimal amount of moisture in even dry pet food ... but this is considered dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appeals to most cats. In my rural area, abandoned previously owned cats come out of hiding in the woods in hurricane and tornado season. This provides the vitamins they need and they find it tasty indoors or outdoors. That gives time to see if there is a name on a collar, or if they have special needs. Having a value cat food is very important. This Purina formula appears very much like the original cat chow, referring to the first four ingredients. It does not crumble excessively and can be left on a porch without making a mess.Having written that I've come to prefer Purina Naturals with this first ingredient as chicken!
