Q: is 18 month old to eat this?
submitted by Poke - 1 year ago
A: I think the bag says up to 1 year. But I also read that they are kittens up to 2 years. It probably depends on your cat. I have two really active 14 month olds and I switched them to Cat Chow and they started losing weight so I switched back to kitten chow and they are the perfect weight. As they get older if they start gaining too much weight on the kitten chow I will switch to cat chow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a bag of this when we adopted our new kitten to help him adjust to our home. I thought some familiar food might help. Well, my existing cat wanted in, so much we were able to use this to entice our existing cat into eating down the hall from our new kitten.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitten Chow is my go-to food for the little ones. We get alot of strays, and we used to use it specifically for wild baby mamals. You can't beat the price for the quality too! It's harder to find during kitten season, especially in small towns, but I got my bag today so little Anastasia can get some good nutrition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve trusted this food for many of my cats throughout the years when they were kittens and now I’m currently using this food again for my 15 yr old senior cat that grew up on Purina Cat Chow. This food is small enough pieces that seem easy to chew and digest. Since my boy has gotten older he’s lost a lot of weight and his teeth are starting to deteriorate with age. I’ve noticed since I switched him back to the kitten formula he’s having less trouble chewing and seems to be eating again more frequently like he used too. The kitten formula has more protein as well which I think is beneficial for him. Also, my other cats seem to enjoy snacking on it, even though they have their regular cat chow formula
