My dog likes the food and it has a good texture mix - small harder pieces and larger softer one's. I purchase the smaller bags and put them into sealed containers. I once purchased the extra large bag, and there were small black bugs in it. I've read this is a recurring issue if not store properly, but I did have it sealed tight.

My border collie is one of the most finicky eaters I've ever had. I have tried at least a dozen dry foods and he would only eat them sproadically, even enhanced with cheese, yogurt, pumpkin, broth, whatever. Fnally, he likes Purina One! I was a little shy about using Purina, becasue it didn't used to have a strong rating by vets, but this one does. And chicken is far more animal welfare and climate friendly than beef, lamb or pork, which is important to me.
