Our family loves these grits!
The Quaker 5-minutes Quick Grits are delicious! They cook up exactly as expected — smooth and creamy in its consistency! I highly recommend this product that hands down beats the competition (Albert’s Quick Grits), which I grew up with and now they’re AWFUL! Quaker grits are definitely worth the switch!

Do you like grits? Are you too lazy to take the time and effort to make them? Behold, this monstrosity! Its perfext, in taste, time, and effort. All you do is add water and put in the microwave for a minute. Doesnt fill you up all the way? Add another packet, and boom, problem solved.

Quaker Instant Grits are a staple in my kitchen and my tummy. I like all the flavors, but the Jalapeño Cheddar Instant Grits were my very favorite until they disappeared from my store's shelves and your website. They had just the right amount of "kick" from the jalapeño without being overbearing, and the right amount of cheesiness, too. Please bring them back!

it often comes with the lid unattached. the clear seal is supposed to attach if to the cardboard canister, but it is actually attached to the lid. so the lid just popped off spilled everything. imagine the bugs that get inside because its not sealed

SALTY....very, very salty!
As many people have said, the grits are too salty. WAY TOO SALTY! I'm not watching my sodium intake, this is based on taste alone. Can't you make a No Salt variety? You make those awful flavored varieties, no salt should be easy. The packets are a great convenience, but the salt will keep me from purchasing again.

Brand new opened and saw insects floating while I was adding water to grits. Researched and discovered they were rice weevils. They are harmless but this was a first discovering these, I buy these constantly. Usually I love these grits so the review is finding these creatures.

Why don’t our local store sell yellow grits?
I grew up eating grits. These quick grits don’t taste particularly different from than the long-cooking grits my grandmothers used to make. They cook up in 5 minutes.They are creamy and go very well with butter & salt or, my family’s favorite, cheese grits. But why can’t we find yellow grits anywhere? Yes, hominy is usually white, but we didn’t eat white grits when I was young.

Inedible, a waste of money. I like salt on french fries, tomato salad, rare steak, but in grits? Nah! With 14% of the RDA in one teeny tiny packet your chemists have gone off the rails. I think that if you lost the salt in your formulation you would get more repeat buyers but as it is I'll not buy it again as what I have I will not use.

Full of hulls!
The last 2 5lb bags I bought were full of hulls. Probably had husks as well. Didn’t cook well at all, but I still ate them. I’ve always bought Quaker, because yall had the best!
