I didn't like it because it's too salty!

I've been eating the regular Quaker oats grits for a while now. But I thought I would just buy the instant to make breakfast a little faster. This stuff is got lots of added salt that I never put in mine when cooking the regular. I would not buy this again because the salt takes away from the grits itself
So convenient to make!

I always but Quaker 5 minute grits but this one time I purchased from Target the bottom of the 24 oz canister was busted on one side with grits coming out. Didn’t get to eat so I couldn’t give a review.

I only eat the Cheddar Grits. I now can't find them outside a 22 count variety pack. I'm not saying for 17 packs I won't eat. Make Cheddar Grits available on their own, please and thank you

I usually purchase the grits on the left (in the round box). My store didn’t have them and I bought the package on the right. The cooking instructions are the same but the texture is so different. Should I use different cooking for the ones I just bought? I don’t even like the gritter texture from the paper package. May throw them out.
For instant they're pretty ok

They're good flavor for instant. Definitely not homemade. Mostly because of how the production methods. But, personally I have been able to get rid of some of the gritiness(like the roughness). All I do is put it in my spice grinder, food processor or blender. I use at least half whole milk or half and half. And, put in all the traditional add-ons from my youth. It comes out more towards homemade. But, I still have to take into account that they are instant not homemade. I liken it to instant mashed potatoes.

Quaker had a food safety recall. I filed a claim and provided them a copy of my receipt for reimbursement. Six months later, after numerous contacts and repeated failed promises from them, I still have not been reimbursed. After recently contacting Quaker yet again about no one ever getting back to me after their last promise to escalate my case, they're now just ignoring me. It's inexecuseable to ever ignore your customers, especially someone like me whose been buying their products for decades, but to not reimburse and then ignore a customer to whom you sold food that had to be recalled proves beyond any doubt that the Quaker company has now completely lost all the sense of morality or integrity. To anyone reading this, ask yourself if that's the kind of company you want to do business with and if that's the brand of products you want to trust feeding yourself and your family.

My grits feel like little rocks in my mouth. Even after cooking them 15 to 20 minutes. Your grits are not like the grits I grew up on. What have you done to mess up your grits

My quick grits no longer cook up creamy good. They taste like sand is in them. It’s the consistency of valve grinding compound. We opened a new box this morning and it was worse than the last box. Help!! Please fix our grits!! We are 71 and have been using this product for years. My husband makes them the same every day He hasn’t changed but the grits have … what can we do?? Fix this please! It has been getting steadily worse the last couple years. This morning I chocked on them 😢

We’ve loved these previously however this time it arrived falling out of the container because the lid fell into it even with the safety seal on? After submitting for a replacement I realized Target sent me a package with a best before date from last month. We’ll see how the replacement goes then might start looking for a new option since it’s not sold at our store anymore

For a quick meal of Cajun Shrimp & Grits, this can't be beat! My family never even ate grits until we visited Savannah and Charleston. I use chicken stock instead of water, plus a bit of cream at the end to make them even more soft, creamy, and flavorful before adding the shredded cheddar cheese and topping it with the bacon/shrimp/scallion/garlic mixture.
