I was pleasantly surprised that it was a warming gel. It does have a sticky texture but it's HONEY. As some reviewers stated, the mask pulled out pimple junk on 2 spots on face, so was impressed. Not sure if moisturizing but left my face smooth. May need to follow up with a nightly moisturizer.

Can Cause Allergic Reactions
If you have allergies to honey or certain pollens, or if you have sensitive skin, I would avoid this mask. It smelled fine and was easy enough to apply, but apparently I have a skin allergy to the honey or some other ingredient (despite being able to eat honey just fine) because my skin felt like it was burning. I immediately washed it off, but the next few days I started to break out where the mask was applied.

Within ten seconds of applying it started to heat up. And I don't mean it got warm, I mean it got HOT. It was burning my face. It literally felt like I was holding a flame to my skin.

Wanted something to soothe a bit of retinol irritation and this seemed to help soothe. Not sure if these are one time packets but there seems to be enough in there for two uses. Smelled okay, but...
It's obnoxiously thick, drying, and left an unpleasant residue. I did not leave it on for the full 15 minutes as I felt a slight burn and worried I was having a reaction (as I did with another mask). I am glad I did wash it off because the tester spot I did on my arm now has a discolored patch which I have come to realize is a dye they put in the mask to mimic honey. Being as pale as I am, if it had stained my face it would have been a nightmare. I have to question this brand which I purchased multiple masks in one go at the recommendations of friends and all have turned out in less than stellar experiences. I have to question their choices of ingredients and mask styles.
