If i could give -5 stars i would
I purchased a cable from a third-party retailer, and over time, its performance started to decline. The Quest app eventually flagged it, indicating it wasn’t a USB-C 3.0 cable. Assuming the issue was with the cable itself, I replaced it with a verified USB-C 3.0 cable. However, the app continued to state that it was not a compatible USB-C or USB-C 3.0 cable. Now, after extended use, the quality of the device has significantly deteriorated. I am now faced with the challenge of removing the USB-C port from my motherboard, which makes me wonder if this is becoming a common issue for other users as well. Given these ongoing issues, I would prefer an affordable, reliable alternative rather than paying $80 to $100 for a premium cable that does not consistently perform as expected. The developers responsible for Oculus’s compatibility and the team behind the cable design should reconsider these choices, as they do not align with user expectations. This product may require a thorough review, as it currently falls short of anticipated standards.

Breaking Rift Link Cable Support
Quest devs are discontinuing support to this cable so you'd have to be an idiot to bother with buying this. It may or may not work on any given day with their constant updates breaking it.

Actual piece of garbage
this costed 100 dollars and it barely works i plug it in to my headset it works for 10 miniutes MAX!! This sucks i would much rather get a 20 dollar usb-c cable that acttualy works. the usb-c plug the one thats into ur pc stupidly flimsy you cant play anything with this cable. once again its a absolute peice of garbage

DO NOT WASTE MONEY
This thing is a nearly $100 paperweight. Firstly, some of their things say they recommend this others say a normal long usbc cord. The Oculus link software itself is also absolutely atrocious. When trying to view your desktop, the display flickers, when it doesn't it refuses to register you clicking literally anything. Trying to hop into a vr game not loaded to your quest is a nightmare. Picture quality and frame rate when using it, are also awful. I have a AMD 6600 XT and an I7 processor VR ready Motherboard, so my computer is not the issue. If you are looking to connect your Quest to your desktop just buy Virtual Desktop. It is a fraction of the cost and runs and works 10000x better

Ruined Christmas Needs Additional Adapter to Work
This is USB-C to USB-C, if your computer does not have a USB-C port. This will NOT work unless you have an adapter! Very frustrating. Ruined Christmas for my son since we didn't realize this. Now we will spend our day after Christmas searching for an adapter.
