Quest Nutrition Protein Bar - Birthday Cake

This was my first time trying quest in particular, I must admit the taste isn't very much birthday cake at all but it is still good. Not too sure how to describe it, almost reminds me of vanilla pediasure. Love that there's no oats as most protein bars contain oats and I'm allergic, great macros too. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a solid 6

Chewy birthday cake with melty coating by QUEST is my all time favorite, and I have been relying on protein bars for health and fitness for near 30 years now. I "watch" what I eat so this is the perfect way for me to satisfy the pleasure centers in my brain without feeling guilty (which is more toxic than any food!). I will say though, it is tricky to buy online as sometimes you can get a box that is not very fresh, and that environmental conditions adding to oxidation process such as now wireless radiation everywhere, can speed up the rancidtation, aging process of protein, fats in chocolate etc... I have experienced this with not only QUEST bars, being stale before the "best by" date but as well many other similarly composed products, chocolate, protein, etc. Not to complain, just, offering advise to help in any way. Chewy, chocolately, more flavors would be a dream such as butter pecan, lemon cake, dark chocolate raspberry, peanut butter cookie, all following this classic model of chewy with a melty coating, goddess! Anything that brings you innocent pleasure is healthy, this is proven in neuroscience ! Enjoy!

Love the entire Quest line of products, their protein bars are the best. Packed with protein, low sugar and low carbs, and taste like your eating a piece of birthday cake, can’t beat it. Great to take on the go for a good protein fix, delicious!!!

250 mg sodium per bar! Was wondering why I could feel strong heart rate after eating these. Never again.

Don’t know if I got a band set, but I recently bought these in a store and they were completely stale. I had heard great thing and was quite disappointed!

These are absolutely disgusting! These would have been better had they changed the texture. The birthday cake taste is there, but it's being overpowered by the overall chalky texture/taste! My son wanted to try it and he spit it out immediately! I purchased an entire box to only have to toss them all. I wouldn't even feed these to a dog (if even able to). I am sorry. Do yourself a favor and find another brand of birthday cake protein bars. If you really want to try these out, go to a grocery store or gas station to find the individual bars to try one out beforehand.

It tastes like old sprinkles, if that makes sense? My husband isn't picky and he didn't even finish chewing before spitting it out. Ended up throwing the rest away, which sucks because I bought the big box and it wasn't cheap!

I was so excited to buy these, since they looked amazing on the box. Come to find out, it tastes nothing like birthday cake and I was gagging nonstop at the texture and taste the moment I took a bite. I threw the entire box away! Whoever enjoys these has 0 taste buds. One of the most awful things I've ever tasted in my life.
