Not Worth It!

I had assumed this bar would’ve been great! But I thought wrong. The texture is super dry-gummy feeling that sticks to your teeth. The chocolate pieces were okay, but the “cookie dough” was terrible.

I saw cookie dough on the package that looked delicious and I could not resist at the check out line plus a major protein bonus, what’s not to love? It seemed to good to be true. And it was. This company completely lied on this package. This bar has the looks, consistency, and probably taste of bath tile grout, like no joke. It’s the gift that keeps on giving, you can chew and chew for hours and the taste just keeps getting worse. Imagine bubble gum that was rolled on a dusty dirt road and endlessly chewing on it—that’s this bar. In no way, shape or form does this bar resemble cookie dough, Quest completely lied on the package. Quest must have paid the people who gave this more than one star and said anything remotely good about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quest protein bars fit very well into my snack and/or meal replacement goals of low sugar, lots of protein and great taste (sweetness still comes through even with low sugar). I used to be able to get the variety packs with a dozen or so types in one box, but this is a good alternative to help with the desire for variety.

I have been looking to increase the amount of protein I intake daily. This is a great combination of options. It was also a great way to try different flavors and products. Think we found a new favorite in cookies and cream too!

This is genuinely one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten. The flavor is horrible and the texture is worse. Seriously, do not buy these.

Nasty nasty nasty! These made my stomach hurt so bad after eating just half of one. Even just a few bites, I kept trying to convince myself they tasted good but it was the worst artificial aftertaste I ever ever encountered and definitely not worth it. I can't imagine eating another one. They seem like theyd be good but trust me, save yourself the money and pass!

I’m on a ketogenic diet, which is hard because I have a sweet tooth pretty often. I saw a woman on TikTok recommend these in the air-fryer! I have to agree! I haven’t tried them without air frying them, though. I cut them into thirds and set the temperature on 350 for about 7 minutes. I think 5-7 minutes would probably be best for most people, texture wise. 7 was a little crispy, which I like. Every air-fryer is different, but this is what worked for mine and what I enjoyed!!!

Listen. I wasn’t expecting this to be good, flavor or texture wise, like most foods I try to convince myself are healthy in some form. I expected to suffer through a quick protein food and be a bit sad about it. FOLKS. Don’t do it. It took ten minutes of convincing myself it wouldn’t be too bad to get through it, and I legit feel like I’m going to puke. It’s so bad. The texture is gummy but then you chew and it turns to a kinda dusty dirt texture in your mouth. The taste is… hard to describe. On a good bite, you can imagine “whoa, maybe this resembles the idea of a cookie!” But they’re not often and it’s mostly gaslighting yourself as you try not to actually think about how it tastes. The chocolate acts as a little nice reward for every other bite but it’s not enough. I’m trying to not think about it so I don’t get more nauseated, but I needed to write this review. I hardly ever review foods but holy moly, this is one of the worst things I’ve eaten in so long. Don’t buy it. There are other things out there. Go get a good and gather protein bar, make your own, or just find any other food. I’d rather eat just about anything else but also I can’t imagine eating anything again, the thought of food is horrible. Also they cost too much and it’s just… not worth it…

Worst protein bars. If you’re just eating them for the low macros, you can suffer through, but the flavors are all awful.
