For the past 3 winters the small area of my scalp along my hairline above my forehead has flaked in the winter. Originally I thought I had dandruff, but dandruff shampoo did nothing. I tried both washing less than my usual 2-3x per week, as well as washing more often. I have fine, thin hair and my scalp gets oily 24-48 hours after washing, so this dryness & flaking is new & confusing. That area of my scalp feels tight & itchy after washing, and the flakes are embarrassing. I had given up until I found this product. I have only used it 3 times so far. I didn't notice much difference after the first time, then a much more noticeable difference after the second. Finally after the 3rd use my flakes are gone!! I have never raved about a hair product before, because my hair is so "blah" nothing does much for it, but this gave me a much needed solution!!! And it didn't make my hair any flatter, limper, or more oily than it normally is (which was a concern for me). It literally did the one job I bought it to do. I wished I had taken before & after photos of my scalp to show the change! One tip: It instructs you to apply after shampooing and conditioning and to leave on for 5-10 minutes. I do not have time for 3 step process for my hair, so I just applied this to my scalp while conditioner was on my ends. (I always only apply conditioner to the ends of my hair, due to how incredibly fine it is.) So I can use this without adding time to my shower routine! Note: I am using this with my regular shampoo & conditioner, not combined with their shampoo & conditioner from the same line.

I do not recommend if you are looking for something that actually has a scrubbing mechanism. There's no texture to this. I think it cleaned my hair more overall but no real notice of improvement after one use.

I've only used it twice so far, so this could change, but so far this stuff has been amazing. My scalp has been very dry this winter and was resulting in dandruff which I don't recall ever having before. After one wash of this stuff, my dandruff was gone, and my hair felt shinier and lighter than it has in a long time. It's also affordable for a pretty generous size tube which is really refreshing at a time when so many good products charge 15-20 or more dollars an ounce. I highly recommend it if your scalp is dry or you have dandruff. What's to lose?

I often have a dry scalp, but my hair gets oily quickly. I used to shampoo my hair almost daily, and would condition it less frequently (yikes, I know). My roommate told me it would be better for my hair if I conditioned it more and shampooed less. Knowing my hair gets oily so quickly, I was skeptical. I came across this scalp scrub at the store, and I thought I’d give it a go. I have completely stopped shampooing my hair, and instead I use the scalp scrub on my roots and I use conditioner on the rest of my hair. I put the scalp scrub and conditioner in at the same time so I’m only waiting one 5-10 minute period in the shower before rinsing my hair out. I’ve been using the scrub 3-4 times a week for the past month. My hair is shinier, less oily, and my scalp is less dry and flaky. If you’re hesitant to try this product, set your worries down and pick this up instead!
