A: The whole purpose of them having the hole on the bottom is to wire them from the bottom please know what you're talking about before you answer people

Q: The dimension states 10” high. However the interior would not be 10” due to separate water tray. How high is the interior of the pot? How many inches is the water tray and space between water tray and pot?

Q: There are 3 different sizes but the dinentions for all of them are 10"x10"x10". So what one is 10"x10"x10". I'd guess 10 but also need to know the dimentions of the 6 & 4 ones are?

Q: The pot I purchased has the same UPC code as this, but it has many small drainage holes at the bottom - not just a single drainage hole per the description above. Is it still self watering? How does that work?

I have a lot of the self watering pots. A lot. These offer nice contrast in form and color. The yellow of this with the blue self watering and a clay color mixed in there. Yes. A mom of twins was shopping near me at L-big box home improvement store and picked up the most basic planter and they wanted $17! “Excuse me, are you looking for planters? That’s too much for what it is, Target has much better ones, in fun colors and sizes. I try to use terracotta but it’s too heavy for my back.

Plastic planter. Use these when I’ve run out of nursery pots. They have great drainage holes in the bottom. Also a nice catch tray. I bottom water my plants so it works out great and plants have been thriving.

I agree with another reviewer. Sadly, these pots produce mold. You have to be very careful to remove the bottom part (some of them do not come off) or hold on an angle to remove all excess water. I would not recommend planting directly into these pots. If you buy a plant, keep it in its existing container. I like things to be uniform so it works out for me. Just be aware that these don’t drain well and plan accordingly. I will say that for the price they are a good buy. Great for protecting your nice planters. This years pots do not appear to come apart like some of the past versions. I loved that they came in a number of colors, sizes and new shapes this year. The drainage on the cylinder one might be better. It does not come apart. It’s definitely a design flaw imo.

After reading a magazine article using pails or pots to plant seeds for fresh vegetables , I decided to purchase these pots . The idea is to plant vegetables that grow below the ground. For example, carrots,onions etc. skip tomato or peppers etc because they are too heavy.
