I was pleasantly surprised by this ice cream. Despite being lower in fat, it's not lower in flavor. I didn't notice any weird aftertaste. The chocolate ice cream has a nice texture (once it sits out and softens a little) and I love the praline pecan bits. It is difficult to scoop straight out of the container, so I just let it sit for a few minutes on the counter.

Love the protein! But erythritol?! Terrible- look at the recent research on the sugar substitute/poison. Studies show that erythritol is closely associated with risk for “major adverse cardiovascular events.” In other words, people who have high blood levels of erythritol are more prone to heart attacks, strokes and even death

Not the best of ingredients but it is definitely a tasty treat! This was my first time trying and I would buy it again. I can’t wait to try the other flavors I bought along with this one….It is better than halo top.

The flavor is good and I normally love this low-calorie brand but I bought 6 containers of this flavor in beginning of January at a Fresno store and every single one of them were either filled only halfway up or they were empty on the bottom half and once it started to soften it just dropped to the bottom showing only half full. I also noticed some had no seal. And we’re crystallized on top. And yes, it was like they had been melted and re-froze solid. I’m assuming this most likely happened from the factory not sealing them properly or during some mishap between the shipment on the truck and delivery and no one cared or was told of course. That’s a lot of wasted money for consumers to get stuck with ☹️

As mentioned in other reviews, the product looked like it had melted and there was a lot of empty space in the container. But the main issue was the ingredient list, which I did not read before I bought this. There are several ingredients which I would not expect to see in ice cream (or any not-highly-processed food). I suppose they make it lower-fat and lower-calorie, but it is probably better to just eat normal ice cream with natural ingredients, in moderation. This ice cream had a texture I didn't like, an aftertaste, and an artificially-added fiber content (15 grams in the pint) that will challenge your digestive system if you are not accustomed to added fiber in your ice cream.

I had no idea target sold something similar to Halo ice cream. This flavor rocks and I don't even want to share this review because wanting to be selfish-greedy to keep good thing to myself. Tastes great & better price. I love target!
