Does not last long for nighttime use when sleeping
This product is advertised as long-lasting however when used at night for sleeping it only lasts about an hour before I have issues with corneal tearing and have to re-apply. The best thing about these is that they are preservative free. Otherwise they are expensive and don't last very long between applications.

Perfect for recurrent corneal abrasions
For anyone who struggles with recurrent corneal abrasions, this is a godsend. I used to wake in the night with severe pain and my eye doc gave me a sample of these and they have eliminated my recurrences. Cons: you really only can use at night. Makes your vision very blurry. If you suffer from dry eyes (open eyelids while sleeping) at night, this is wonderful but only use just before lights out.

empty (almost)
Frustrated. Several of the vials didn't have enough product in the vial to actually create a "drop". I had to open several vials to get a drop in my eye. Almost empty? Quality control issues? This product is too expensive per use to deal with almost empty vials.

Makes eyes more dry
As soon as these drops are in, my eyes feel insanely dry. these do not provide any moisturizing relief. Additionally, the volume in each vial is really small and difficult to get out.

After working all day on a computer, my eyes are often dry and irritated. A couple of drops in each eye provide soothing relief. They quickly hydrate my eyes and are gentle allowing me to use daily!

I actually feel this gel feels less lubricating than the regular Refresh tears. In addition, it didn’t really blend in well so most of it came out of my eye and coated my lashes.

They work but...
Eye drops told me to specially get theae for my Thyroid Eye Disease. Just used them and whike my eyes definelt don't feel dry right now, each vial only contained 1 drop so I needed 2 vials and they are so thick that everything is blurry, lol. I guess Ill be using them once a day instead of 3 times a day and do so right before bed.

Too thick!
I put them in before bed because they were gel and very thick. When I woke up my eyes felt glued shut and I had to wash with water to clear them enough to open. My eyer were ok after that but not using these drops again.

They made my eyes hurt
Horrible. They made my eyes feel worse than before using them. The first one or two times using them they feel good but after a while they make my eyes feel more dried out than before using them. So I went back to using Systane ultra, but it took a lot of the Systane eye drops to make my eyes feel moisturized again. I’ve tried three different refresh eye drop products and none of them work. I had Lasik eye surgery six years ago, so my eyes don’t moisturize themselves anymore. Unfortunately, all the refresh eye drops I’ve tried have made my eye dryness worse. Fortunately, I was able to return them.

I Do Not Recommend
The box says that each of the 30 single-use vials has 0.4 ml of product, yet the phone rep told me that they are not pre-measured and contain a minimum of 2 drops each and not necessarily more. Of the first 4 I used, 2 were totally dry. It's hard to get the drops to come out and even harder to get just one, causing the excess to drip down my cheeks. The drops cause extreme blur and I feel like there's an irritant/foreign body in my eyes after use. IDiscontinued use. $16.29 wasted.

Work well but packaging is wasteful
These eye drops are fantastic for more lubrication - I use them at night after I take out my contacts and before I go to sleep. I find that my contacts are much easier to put in the next morning. The formula is thick and I think that's why it works so well; just a quick note, these eye drops do not work to put these drops in while wearing contacts - at least for me (I can't see lol). I also appreciate this formula is preservative-free (why isn't everything? :-) The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the super wasteful packaging; the single-use containers are just terrible for the environment. I'm not sure why this formula is not in an eye drop bottle like their other products. Even if it's for added hygiene, I think in this day and age companies need to be more mindful of our waste production. I'm going to try another product from Refresh that has an eye drop bottle, and I hope that Refresh will consider putting this Celluvisc formula in a bottle.

Leaves white crust around eyes and on eyelashes
They lubricate a bit but they leave a crust around your eyes. It’s very unflattering, and they also don’t lubricate enough compared to other drops to justify it.

Almost like gel type
These eye drops are more on the gel side. They are not as thick as gel, but there are up there. I would consider them to be semi gel. The consistency is a bit more than the Liquidgel kind.
