Don't buy it

Honest Review - 2 years ago, Verified purchaser
I purchased these refresh lubricant drops along with systane PF after the lasik surgery. Not only the refreshed ones irritated my eyes vials leak and have way less solution than the Systane one. I purchased both because the refresh ones were a bit cheaper but now I know why the systane PF ones are more expensive. Bottom line don't buy these refresh ones.

I like these. It's really convenient to just pop some in my bag or my wallet. Unpreserved drops like these can help prevent you from developing allergies to the preservatives other drops have. They're SINGLE USE plastic vials though, so you can't open one and then use the rest of it days later. That's not a big deal. It's just important to know.

These are working well for me after getting lasik. I had to purchase multiple brands to see what worked best for me and this brand and Thera Tears were the winners.

Not effective after LASIK for me

Unfortunately didn’t work for me. Bought to use during LASIK recovery. It seemed to leave a residue in my eyes but didn’t alleviate any dryness.

I have dry eyes, and my opthalmologist wants me to use lubricant eye drops at least twice daily. Refresh Optive Sensitive has been very helpful; if I skip a dose I feel the difference. My eyes are no longer tearing, and unless I skip a dose, I no longer have that awful feeling that comes when my eyes are terribly dry. The best thing about these is that I feel confident that I am not doing any damage, as these are preservative-free. I've been told by multiple eye doctors that it's OK to use a vial for 24 hours, as long as it stays clean. I open 1 vial, use it, then put the cap back on, turning it to a 90 degree angle from how it started. That way I know which one to use next. After the 2nd use, I throw it out. At that point I usually have used it up. These are wonderful!

You can recap!

Pretty happy with it - 3 years ago
I bought these vials years ago when my doctor recommended them. They felt wasteful though and used to be jagged when I snapped off the top. I went to using the little bottles for a while but was always disappointed by the shelf life (it says to throw away the bottles after 90 days). I decided to go back to the vials and was reading reviews here and realized you can recap them! I don't know if you could or couldn't before but I was frustrated just throwing them away when there was still some in the vial and I knew I would probably be using it again in a few hours. Well, you can recap them! I picked them up today and they are very easy to uncap (no jagged edges) and then recap. I also like that I can throw a few in my purse or backpack for when I am out. Then the shelf life is better considering I am only opening one at a time. Also, this version is preservative free so I am back on this forsure.

Does not leave eyes hydrated or moisturized. Slightly irritated. Vision change on first and second use. Not for me.

I’ve been buying these eyedrops since my husband had LASIK last year and they help keep his eyes moist because the wind can dry his eyes out. I like that there single vials, so he doesn’t have to worry about a dropper contamination. Would I buy again or recommend? Yes & yes.

I have used these since my LASIK surgery 5 years ago. They give me immediate relief for dry itchy eyes. I love the small bottles. I can offer them to coworkers while being sanitary. They are in my emergency kit and every bathroom.

Best of Refresh

Chaibok - 4 years ago
This has to be the best of the Refresh eye drops, and I've used all types of Refresh eye drops. It is effective for my dry eyes, lasts long, does not sting so doesn't disturb in the middle of doing something. Also, it is soothing to the eyes, especially with its cold fluid. As it is in vials and preservative-free it's safe, and can just take one or two vials as needed when going out.

I like the design of these as you are able to snap the top back on if you don't use it all in one sitting. The target ones (Up and Up) don't snap back on, but they are cheaper. Both make my eyes not dry and that's what matters.
