These drops worked way better for me than the other Refresh preservative free drops. This formula feels nice and thick, not to mention super hydrating. You will have to blink a bit more after putting them in so your vision fully clears.

Game changer for dry eyes

My doctor recommended these drops for me. I was using another version before this. These drops are awesome. I get about 4 drops out of each single use pod. I put one drop in each eye in the morning, put the cap back on, and use one drop in each eye in the evening. I don’t use it beyond 24 hours from opening since it is preservative free. My vision improved just a bit on my follow up exam after I started using them. They are expensive but totally worth it.

My eyes are so dry that I have to use prescription drops twice a day. I am supposed to supplement those prescription drops with over-the-counter ones, and I've settled on these. They help reduce the dryness throughout the day (and I apply multiple times a day). The vials can be closed by re-attaching the cap once it's been twisted off, though I was advised, once opened, to not keep them for long because they don't have preservatives. They do blur my vision for several seconds after application, but I'm used to that. These, and any other drops that have been effective against severe dry eye, all do this.

Amazing!! I have been suffering from dry eyes for the last three years. My eye flared up again recently and I usually use the refresh dry eye drops but never tried the ones with flax seed oil. I feel like they soothed my eye much much and quickly! It kept my eye lubricated longer too. Game changer! It did not burn my eye like some reviews said but I know everyone has different sensitivities to things.

They would burn my eyes after 20 minutes. I also would get this weird pulsing pain in my eye. They use to not do that, maybe they changed the formula or something. I bought a second pack and still same symptoms

Dry eyes for oil gland issues!

5 out of 5 stars
Thumbs up graphic, would recommend
Cheese Freak - 11 months ago, Verified purchaser
These are great when on accutane and came recommended by my eye doctor. For those who experience blurred vision, I think a common confusion with dry eyes is that all dry eyes are the same. This isn’t true. Dry eyes are most often caused by a lack of tear production and/or lack of tear quality to coat your cornea! Tears consist of water, mucus, and oil… For those of us on accutane, the medication reduces oil secretion… including that of your eyes. So, you can produce tears all you want (which you will if you have normal tear ducts), but your eyes will remain dry without that oil and keep watering to try to fix it… often times, you will get a watery runny nose during treatment because of these tears. This eye drop is super special because it has this oil component for those who need it. Sure, if you have no issues with your meibomian oil glands, you probably won’t realize the difference… and might experience mild blurring similar to gel drops. Treating your dry eyes is more than just finding artificial tears… and this eye drop specializes in just that. And honestly, I really wish it wasn’t so expensive either because they are so helpful (ooo a gel drop version of this would be so nice) but it’s worth it compared to others when you have oil gland dysfunction. Finally, I did experience some ‘burning’ - not real burning, but very mild discomfort when first using this drop… but I experienced this same feeling with other non-gel based eye drops. And from my personal experience, it is my eyes way of showing that they have been dry for too long… it’s literally just a wake-up call to your eyes showing them what they’ve been missing. The faux dryness goes away after a few days, but you will have to use a couple of vials those days to help your eyes heal up a bit and get accustomed to feeling a bit closer to normal. I’d just figure out the cause of your dry eyes (whether that be crusting from mucus, too little tears, oil blockages/dysfunction, etc.) before finding the best drop for you.

These drops lubricator your eyes and you don’t have to use them every couple hours like regular eye drops. They take away dryness, burning and itchiness from overly dry eyes.
