A: Hi TK. The glycerin in Biotrue Hydration Boost is derived from multiple vegetable sources such including soybean, canola, palm, palm kernel, and/or coconut oils.

Q: When should the drops be thrown away since it has no preervative ?
A: Hi V. The expiration date is printed on both the top of the outer carton and the back of the bottle. Please reference that date to determine when you need to dispose of the product.

Q: Can we use this for 3 years old??
A: Hi SJ. Biotrue Hydration Boost Lubricant Eye Drops are considered GRASE (generally recognized as safe and effective) by the FDA and may be used by children. Because dry eye symptoms can be due to many different causes, parents should consult with their child’s pediatrician for assessment and diagnosis of the condition before using eye drops for their child.

Q: is this eyedropper safe for diabetics?
A: Hi Robert. We're not sure if you mean the bottle or the drops. We are not aware of any reason why those with diabetes would not be able to use the product. We would recommend consulting your health care provider if you continue to have concerns or questions.

Q: Due to surgery slip messed up a nerve, my right eye doesn't close all the time completely. I end up having some eye pain that wakes me up so I have to use eye drops. Will this product last longer.
A: Incomplete closure of the eyelids can cause excessive evaporation of the tear film. Please consult your Eye Care Professional for more information as to what product might be right for you.

A: HI Lisa. Yes. Unlike most eye drops that contain preservatives, you can use Biotrue eye drops while wearing your soft contact lenses. However, Biotrue eye drops are not indicated to rewet contact lenses.

A: Hi 4c Gal. - Yes. Refrigerating the product temporarily won’t impact the product quality. For long term storage condition of the product, follow the direction on the label.

Q: Does this provide redness relief?
A: Hi Lisa. Biotrue Hydration Boost Eye Drops are indicated to provide relief from dry eye symptoms. Lumify Eye Drops, also from Bausch + Lomb, are indicated to reduce redness to help eyes look whiter and brighter. Hope this helps!
