Q: I read about this preservative Free product ingredients: Include boric acid and sodium borate. Boric acid and sodium usually use as preservative agents. Please answer my Q here. Thx.
A: Hello Sinta. Boric acid and sodium borate serve only as buffer agents and pH adjusters to control the pH of the product. Biotrue Hydration Boost eyedrops are provided in a bottle that allows the formulation to remain free of bacterial and fungal contamination that would render the product unsafe to use.
