You can typically install a total of two storage drives simultaneously: The existing 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD (running the operating system). One additional 2.5-inch SSD or 3.5-inch HDD connected via a spare SATA cable/port on the motherboard. The case should have a spare bay and necessary mounting points for this second drive. However, HP sometimes ships base models without the SATA data or power cables for the second drive, so you may need to purchase a SATA data cable and check if a spare SATA power connector is available from the power supply unit (PSU).
