Great product, terrific customer service!

The first one I bought leaked, and when I called customer service, they sent me a new one that is PERFECT! The coffee so easy to make and cleaning the coffee maker is simple and only takes a few minutes. I brew the coffee on my kitchen counter overnight, and it's ready the next morning for us to enjoy a lower-acid, delicious cup of coffee.

Not Air Tight
This cold brew maker lid is not air tight, changing the overall flavor of the coffee. I own and love other kitchen aid products, but this misses the mark.

Not great for cold brew maker, use this for tea
I received this as a bridal shower gift with the intent this would replace my smaller pitcher used for cold brewing coffee. The main issue is this does not maintain an air tight seal, and as a result, the cold brew does not taste right. This is fine to use for tea in the fridge or for other infused beverages, but it doesn't work well for its intended use.

Awesome, nice way to make ice coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this a few weeks ago. It is so nice to have an easy way to make a large amount of ice coffee! Fits conveniently in the fridge and is a high quality product. My only issue is some coffee ‘silt’ seems to gather at the bottom through the filter, but could be because it was ground a tad too fine. But the way the bottom is made it will hold it and keep it from going into your coffee cup pretty well! Still figuring out the right brewing time/temp- fridge vs counter etc etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cold brew maker as a wedding shower gift. While I love it conceptually, I didn’t realize that it made “concentrate”. I started using 1 and 1/3 cups of coffee grounds per batch to allow for 1:1 ratio blending instead of 1:4 as recommended. This is working well and a lot easier to figure out in the busy morning. Can’t speak to the longevity of the quality but seems really nice overall. Sleek, effective and seems high quality.

Fridge flooded with coffee
38 Oz Cold Brew Coffee Maker flooded my brand new fridge with coffee. I opened a support case—did not hear from a soul. I created an official review—nothing. About to post on Facebook. This is ridiculous. I should be offered a replacement. Do not buy!!!

Why oh why is it leaking so bad? :(
I want to love it so much and I did for a couple of months of cold brew joy followed by coffee being spilled all over my fridge. Have just contacted support and hoping for a response because c'mon! This could be so perfect if it did not leak coffee all over my fridge.

Wanted to love.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this since I love cold brew and KitchenAid….but I feel like it’s not really worth the price tag. You need almost an entire bag of coffee to brew and it doesn’t make a very large batch.

Super easy to use and so good!

Great cold-brewer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is well designed, simple and easy to use. It’s made of mostly glass, has a base surface that captures sediment to keep it out of your drink, and has a great coffee filter that tips to drain using the lid. Great product overall. Where they fall down a bit is the instruction manual and the lack of explanation of how much coffee and water to mix. The only video I could find says fill to a barely visible line on the filter but the that would be four times the coffee the paperwork suggested. I’ve been going with 1.5 cups off grounds and fill to the top with water and getting decent results so far.

Great system, wrong size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the 38 ounce size because we already have the 28 ounce size and love it, but wanted more quantity. However it is perhaps too large. It takes much longer to pour the water in, because the larger basket for the coffee slows down the initial filtration rate. And the the batch itself, when made, was more than we could finish before it semed stale.
