Samsung to the rescue
So someone on the street sold me my S23 ultra and it was locked. Before I knew the type it was. I kept it for 4 months just because. But then I paid to unlock it and I was blown away. Imma a fan of the OnePlus brand. But my S23 brings me back to overstand why you shouldn't count out Samsung at all. Congrats to Samsung.

Disappointed in flexibility
Bought in Dec. 2023. Limited ability to assign outside ringtoones for contacts and notifications. Have to use same default tones for apps that should be able to assign preferences. Screen on this and my wife's S23+ freeze up too often requiring waiting to use apps. On/Off button and camera screen shot require same 2 buttons, volume down and power button on right, to press for camera and power at same time. Very awkward!!! to press both with one hand and get the correct action.

You are able to assign designated ringtones to your contacts by selecting your contact > More > Change ringtone/vibration > Ringtone > Select Ringtone. If taking a screenshot by pressing and releasing your Side button and Volume down button feel awkward to you, try using your palm swipe to capture a screenshot instead. You can capture an image of the screen by swiping the edge of your hand across it, from side to side, keeping in contact with the screen. 1. From Settings, tap Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Palm swipe to capture. 2. Tap to enable this feature. If your phone's touchscreen is frozen or does not respond to touch, it doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with your device. It could be something as simple as a faulty app. Take a moment to review, "Galaxy phone or tablet's screen is frozen or responds too slowly" when you have some availability to conduct some simple troubleshooting steps that may help resolve what you have described to be experiencing with your Galaxy S23 Ultra. Not happy
I'm not reieving text and when I send one, it buffers for a long time. Not recieving phone calls either. I'm using this phone for business. Horrible on Android auto.

I had this phone going on a month now it's absolutely amazing The storage is more than enough The display in the graphics on the phone is amazing top notch the camera is one of the great amazing features I love in the s pen is a lot of fun! All around great amazing phone battery life is great surprisingly for how much features and how great the display is the battery life can keep up I highly recommend this phone!

Best phone I've owned
I'm so happy i purchased this phone! This is the best phone I've ever owned or used. The photos are fantastic, all the photos I take look professional. I love the fact I can use my stylus to write grocery lists on my phone and to custom my calender. Watching videos on my phone look amazing! I highly recommend this phone (I already got my dad and sister to also get this phone hehe)

Video lag and stutter
Playing videos on the s23 ultra lag and stutter, apparently this a common and well known problem. Beyond disappointed cause this was one of the main reasons I bought this phone for.
