Just received and very disappointed w the lack of quality control at Lamps Plus. The piece to connect the two stems is visibly slanted - it's impossible to connect. Now I have to go through the trouble of packaging and returning.

Great adjustable feature. Perfect task lighting for reading and needlepoint.

Great quality and easy assembly....The only thing I would have liked though I know it wasn't part of the deal was for the on off switch to be a dimmer.

This lamp works very well for our needs. It is super adjustable and is a "discreet " aid to reading or close work that can be pushed away when not in use ( my toddler grandkids completely ignore it, which is a GOOD thing!). The shade is totally adjustable so you could use it as a spot or illuminate a whole wall for a mood. Simple to assemble, heavy, Highly Recommend , use with lower wattage bulbs!

I have had this lamp for about a year now. Great quality except for the on-off switch. Sometimes it is "mushy" and will not turn on or off, it just twists without any click or response. That being said, I still love the lamp and am ordering a second one. I am hoping Lamps Plus can offer me some help with the switch.

Using this as a reading lamp at the arm of my sofa.

The lamp, which was reasonably priced, arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. I like that it is adjustable in height and swivels. We needed another light for reading in our living room. Seems like a quality lamp!

Was looking for a nice lamp for beside my bed and this fit the bill perfectly. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a low/high for the light, it's just on or off.

The height, finish, and style of the lamp is exactly what I was looking for. One year later, however, the light flickers even when a brand new bulb is installed. I have other lamps which I purchased at this price point from other stores that are still working perfectly 25 years later. I'd anticipated that the Lamps Plus brand would offer better quality items. This is disappointing, and a regrettable waste of money.

The adjustable swing arm works smoothly and provides the choice of whether to sit on the sofa or in an adjacent chair to read or do needlework, and it folds unobtrusively in the space between the two pieces of furniture when not in use. The shade tilts, too, which allows me to position the light exactly where I need it when reading. The bronze finish is very understated and blends in well with our furnishings, which is important considering our lamp needs to sit right between a sofa and chair, and not off in a corner or on a side table. We made an initial adjustment to the height and will probably not change it again any time soon. That adjustment is not difficult, but care must be taken to hold the cord taut below the base if lowering the height.

Well made, attractive. Very unobtrusive so blends in well.
