Q: Can someone tell me if the lamp is glass or a manufactured synthetic? I would imagine it is not glass, even though I believe it says it is glass because it is fairly lightweight. Thank you very much!

A: Hi - this lamp has a glass base. Not sure what you mean by "manufactured synthetic", but it is a real glass construction base, it is not made of resin or some other material. Thank you for the question.

Q: The little night light that comes with this lamp...is that black around the base of it? How distracting is that? Shouldn't it blend it? Does it stand out?

A: Hi - the bulb socket inside the glass is a bronze finish metal, but has quite a small visual imprint and we don't think it stands out or distracts from the design. Thank you for the question.

Pretty but smudgy columns
The lamp is a lovely column with a beautiful shade. However, the plastic (they’re not glass) vertical pieces are smudgy inside, with no way to clean. The nightlight is nice.

Very pretty
My mom loves it. Very pretty in living room. Only thing is the top is bent and it's hard to keep it straight when we tighten the ball at the top.

I love this lamp!
I purchased two of these lamps for my living room. The table lamps are simply gorgeous! They add so much ambiance to the room. The night light gives just the right glow to the room and if you need more light, the lamp does not disappoint. The lamp is easy to assemble. Good quality. Would definitely purchase again!

Beautiful Lamps
Beautiful! I ordered two of these lamps to place on glass end tables. The lamps are classic and refined and emit good strong light. Please be aware that the structure is crystal clear plastic, not glass. As I personally put these together I can tell you that glass would have been too heavy to lift. The night light feature is an interesting option and the mechanism is simple: turn the lamp’s knob to the right for the lighting option you want - night light, no night light, main light, or both together. The shades have no flaws and both lamps sit level on the end tables. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Beautiful lamp, love how it has the incandescent light which I use it as a night light or when I don’t need a lot of light. It came with smudges that doesn’t come out so wasn’t thrilled with that but overall it’s great!

Beautiful lighting
I really wanted to love these. And in a sense I really do. But there are imperfections. I bought them new (not open box) The actual gold shaft (where you turn on the switch) Are not lined up properly, so my lamps are not in a nice sleek line. Also the lamp shades themselves are bent making it even worse. I wish I could have given 5 stars for the light quality and the prettiness when the lamps are on. I'm disabled and can not shop at a lamp store physically, I rely on online shopping. Rarely am I disappointed, but this time is different.
