Book Synopsis
Evnie Treedle makes magical things. For the past few years, she has quietly honed her craft while working at the enchanting knickknack shop, The Magpie Nest.
Everything changes when Evnie's extraordinary abilities catch the attention of nearby Reignclowd Palace. Whisked away from her familiar life, she is appointed the Palace's official spellsmith, tasked with making and mending magical objects vital to the kingdom.
But Evnie's new role is put to the ultimate test when disaster strikes. A fearsome dragon threatens the kingdom's princess, and Evnie must draw on all her creativity, courage and crafting skill to confront the danger. With the fate of the princess -- and the kingdom itself -- hanging in the balance, Evnie discovers that true magic lies not just in spells, but in ingenuity, bravery and believing in her own power.
A charming fantasy adventure filled with magic, invention and heart.
