This allows you to adjust the hanging height according to your space. As for the shape, the fixture is approximately 41" across at its widest point. It’s not a perfect circle or a square/rectangle – the arms form an irregular, organic round shape rather than a fixed geometric shape. So you can think of it as roughly a 41" irregular round design.
