RESCUE Japanese Beetle Trap - Case of 12 - 0.21 oz

Unlike the Spectracide trap, the attractant is mounted on the top of the apparatus. The Japanese beetles are simply sitting on the top, and do not fall in the bag. If there were large amounts of beetles present at one time, I suspect that it would be more successful. Total waste of money for me, have used Spectracide trap for years and will use again.

I used to have tens of thousands of beetles all summer. I sprayed them with 3 shirts of Dawn in2 gallons of water. It killed by the thousands. Last year I found the rescue traps and they caught lots of beetles. This year's I put 2 traps out as soon as I saw the first beetle. There's little damage to ripe yellow transparent apple which used to shine coated with beetle. Just emptied them for the first time. See picture below

These traps work for the beetles, but the plastic breaks in the wknd easily so it no longer is usable.

We’ve been using this product for years and won’t use any other brand. It works instantly. If you’re having a problem with beetles just hang this nearby and It will begin to draw them in right away. Collect them and feed them to your chickens for a protein boost!

I have bought beetle traps for 40 years. Went to Menards and they only had this one. What an over-engineered piece of junk. Talk about Turing something simple into something so complex it barely is able to work. Wow!

I hung the beetle bag up with the supplied twist tie, This product worked efficiently until the twist tie broke and the bag fell to the ground. The lure had fallen off and was run over by the lawn mower. Being that the tie broke at the hole to hang the bag, the lure was no longer secured. The bag survived the fall but now the local hardware and big box stores are out of the lures! Bummer for me!

We have roses that get ATTACKED each June/July by these beetles. For the past 2 years we used countless bottles of insect spray. Our landscape contractor told us about this product. Within hours (literally) we had captured tons of these insects. Immediately went back to the store and bought more!!!

We purchased two traps as we have lost crops because of beetles. we were skeptical until we put two in our garden area. Just in a week we have caught dozens of beetles We are now believers : The traps work!

I bought this product having tried the insecticide "8" last year. and having at best mediocre control. This year I used this trap and a little neem oil once in a while on my plum trees and am having very good success! The trap is filled with Japanese beetles! And my trees are doing much better.

I bought 1 trap to see how it worked. It caught so many Beetles that I added another Trap to keep the Beetles from other Trees & Plants. The second Trap has caught Twice ad many Beetle’s.

I purchased several of these because we have several acres of turf in our Village. I seriously caught the beetles by the pound. I truly do recommend and endorse this product.

I set one up and was in the process of setting up a second one when I noticed 3 were trapped in the first one. Within a 10-minute (max) period. Within 15- 20 minutes the second one had 3. Very impressed. Will continue to use it this season and again next year.

Bought this and put out today and within 2.5 hours we had over 3.5 lbs of beetles. We have over 100 trees in our orchards and these things did great work. Buying more tomorrow. Highly recommend. Excellent product.

This trap worked amazingly well for the first several days, and the scent was strong, attracting beetles and trapping hundreds. However, now after a week, I am finding very few new beetles in the trap, but now many on nearby bushes. I would happily buy replacement cartridges to put a new one on the trap every week. Please make them available.

Purchased and hung product. Within an hour of placement, 1/3 of bag was full. Amazing. Just wish they sold a replacement disc for the reusable bag. Would give 6 stars and promote it to my landscape company as well if that gets resolved. Great product either way.

I’ve had this trap for less than a week and have caught thousands of beetles! It’s easy to dump and I believe it’s saving my yard. I bought one for a friend too!

I could not get attractant for my old beetle traps, so I was forced to buy this. The next morning after hanging the traps, two of the four were on the ground. The wind spins the traps and breaks the hanging tab. The instructions should mention the need to keep the traps from spinning.

My neighbor told us about the Japanese Beetle trap after I just sprayed the lawn with Sevin. I went out and bought seven of the traps. I was so impressed. There were betters in this trap in a metter of minutes. I watched the beetles just flying to the traps. Impressed!!

I bought this two weeks ago because we had beetles all over in front of our house. To date not one in bag.
