Description

About the Book

A practical guide to regulating your own and others' nervous systems to create the optimal conditions for high performance

Book Synopsis

Resonance is for anyone who understands that a narrow focus on the traditional leadership skills of analysis, strategy and execution is no longer sufficient, and wants to understand how to take their leadership to a whole new level.

Our increasingly polarized world, where business, technology and the geopolitical landscape are moving at breathtaking speeds and burnout is at an all-time high, demands a new kind of leader, one who understands that strategic advantage depends on the one resource that hasn't kept up with the pace of change: the human nervous system.

They want to learn how to steady their own system and that of others, for clearer thinking, bolder innovation and better decisions under pressure. Resonance helps leaders build neural intelligence by combining neuroscience, whole-body awareness and leadership development into clear, practical actions. It features examples drawn from high-stakes environments, a downloadable toolkit and guidance for coaches and leadership development professionals.

Because people do their best work when they feel safe, seen and resourced.

About the Author

Melody Moore is the founder of Liberare Consulting, and has a deep passion for helping people and organizations become the very best versions of themselves. With 25 years' experience consulting to leaders from around the world, she brings a blend of deep expertise and lived leadership experience, having also worked as an NHS manager and held senior roles within consulting firms.

Melody holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching, and has more recently deepened her understanding of what drives behaviour, through becoming a practitioner in developmental trauma therapy. She has supported thousands of leaders across every sector and organization size, from board members to frontline supervisors. Based in the UK, Melody has also lived and worked in Canada and worked internationally across Asia, North America and Europe. This global experience gives her an understanding of leadership across different cultures and contexts.
