Summary of reviews
The Revlon ColorStay Foundation has been a staple for many guests due to its long-lasting wear and excellent coverage, especially for oily and combination skin. However, recent changes to the formula have led to mixed reactions. While some appreciate the improved shine control and matte finish, others miss the old formula's consistency and color accuracy. Despite these changes, it remains a popular choice for its affordability and effectiveness.

Stop trying to fix things that was not broken. Old foundation formula was perfect. New formula is not as good and frustrating. Now I have to start looking for a new brand.

The best foundation for oily skin that I’ve found. I’m 40 years old and still get shiny in my t zone. This foundation applies beautifully with a blender or brush and when used with a setting powder keeps me oil free for most of the day. I’ve been using it for 15 years.

I like this foundation, it has a really good coverage, what I don't like a lot is that it leaves my skin greasy but I just put powder on top and it looks good. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin and it is the first one that really matches my skin tone. It leaves a really good finish without texture on the skin.

I absolutely love 24 hour combination ivory foundation for winter. My bags under my eyes are definitely better. I need to pick out a color for summer.
LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS -NEW FORMULA SUCKS! MANY PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO WEAR LAYERS OF FOUNDATION, CONCEALER, POWDER, SETTING SPRAY .... THE OLD FORMULA DID ALL OF THOSE THINGS IN ONE BOTTLE. ALSO, HATE HYROLUNIC ACID IN FOUNDATIONS!

You had a 25 year loyal Revlon foundation customer who you've lost when you changed the formula! Got my last remaining bottles in the UK a few years ago and am so upset I'm on my last bottle.
Many people should be questioned

Extremely runny, watery foundation. I shook it up and the product leaked out the pump tip without being squeezed since it’s essentially tinted water in consistency. They market this as having no scent, but it definitely does have a strong, annoying chemical ‘flowery’ type of scent that lingers. My other foundations legitimately have zero scent. It’s frustrating when companies, such as Revlon, add additional chemicals to products that are unnecessary. With how runny this product is, I don’t see how anyone could realistically come close to 15 SPF. You’re supposed to use a nickel sized glob of sunscreen on your face. This could never “glob” if its life depended on it. It would run everywhere and look suuuuper cakey if you tried to apply the amount of a nickel-size glob to your face. What the heck? Who approved this??

I bought this for a travel make up as it’s advertised as good coverage and long stay. I found it had next to no coverage, had to add a top brand foundation with it. When worn alone it certainly didn’t last the distance. I would not buy this product again, it cost me money as I had to buy another product to replace it

Love this foundation. I’ve been looking for a more affordable product. I’ve worn Estée Lauder for years and this is as good and 1/16 of the price. Thank you Revlon!!

I have used this foundation for years and now have to agree with other reviewers- this new formula sucks 😞. I miss the matte finish, and this new formula definitely does have the same long lasting results that it used to have. Guess I’ll have to find a new foundation.

This used to be a great foundation. Now it is so runny. I am a loyal customer of almost 20 years. Looking into other brands now. Bravo 👏

I first tried this foundation many years ago when it was the very first non transfer foundation on rhe market. I lived it then because my skin at the time was pretty oily. Fast forward 20 years, and now my skinbhas changed but my loyalty to this foundation hasn't. Since those days I now wear sunscreen every day so my application method includes a 45 spf. First I put on the sunscreen, THEN pressed powder applied with a brush, and then my Colorstay also applied with a brush. I finish with another light dusting of powder, and my makeup lasts ALL day. The formulation has changed somewhat since back in the day, but I still keep coming back to my first foundation love!

I've cried my eyes out at work (lol) and my skin was still lookin fab. pair it w some ben nye powder and you got a combo for life

I'm annoyed at myself for gambling on this. The colour is good but it settled in my pores and made them very noticeable. It also made my skin look dry and patchy. I'll be hesitant to try another Revlon foundation in the future.

When making online purchases, please exercise caution as the shades may not match the product description. Upon attempting to return the item within two days, Target offer a gift card instead of a refund to the original payment method, forcing me to accept the gift card. This can be problematic for customers who paid directly from their account and do not want a gift card.
