About the Author



Sharmistha Chatterjee is an AI and cloud applications evangelist, serving as the Senior Vice President/Head of the Advanced Analytics Chapter at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. A graduate of Aalto University with a background in Computer Science and Engineering, she has established and led the practice, focusing on building scalable AI platforms. Sharmistha has published research papers, filed patents, and holds proven expertise in leading teams to develop scalable AI solutions across various industries. She is recognized as a 2X GDE, award-winning data scientist, and nominee for several accolades, including 40 under 40 Data Scientist, Women to Watch in AI and Analytics, and global leader finalist. She actively contributes to the community through blogging, speaking at international conferences, mentoring startups, and serving as a guest speaker at universities. Sharmistha is also an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively participating in DEI hiring initiatives and addressing gaps in AI tools.

Dr. Azadeh Dindarian transitioned from an engineer and scientist to a purpose-driven entrepreneur, earning a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a BEng in Computing and Communication Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester. As the CEO of Youniversapp, she utilizes AI and psychoeducation to promote teenagers' social and emotional skills, aiming to prevent mental illness. Azadeh's commitment to diversity and entrepreneurship is evident through her initiatives such as Women AI Academy and Resili Tech Venture. She continues to influence the next generation through lectures and mentoring in engineering, digitalization, and ethical AI. Her research contributions span peer-reviewed journals and books on digitalization, emerging technologies, sustainability, and smart cities.

Usha Rengaraju, the Head of Data Science Research at Exa Protocol, holds the distinction of being the world's first women triple Kaggle Grandmaster. Specializing in Deep Learning and Probabilistic Graphical Models, she served as a judge for prestigious challenges such as Tiger Graph's "Graph for All - Million Dollar Challenge" and the Intel oneAPI Hackathon in 2022.
