Overpriced for what you get, but cute.
I agree with all reviews- the arms don’t “lock” in well so if you try to adjust them, they basically collapse and the mounting materials were horrible. Overpriced for the quality but I like the look.

Defective Item
I was so excited about this, and was bummed it didn’t work out. The shade is lovely. The sconce was a lot larger than expected, which wasn’t an issue, but the item I received was sadly flawed. The arm would not stay tightened, so the weight of the sconce made it sag downward. The electrical cord was also frayed with exposed wire at the top where the arm tightens, which felt wrong/ dangerous. Not sure if my defective item was just a one off, but the quality was definitely not where it should be at the price point.

Super cute but usability is less than ideal
This lamp is aesthetically really nice. The brass is a good tone and the lamp shade is pretty and overall a good size. Now for the bad. The drywall anchors are terrible, they do not work. Also the mounting instructions for the plug in (which mine came already set up so that was nice) are also incorrect. The mounting plate should be taken apart, the inner part mounted, and then the top piece put back on. Also the adjustable arms are just terrible. I expected a lamp i could adjust as needed but it's really a do it once and leave it because you have to tighten each part for it to stay and even then it kept falling on me during installation. The lamp head itself swivels which makes it actually usable but the whole thing was just frustrating and so I will be returning.

Great Looking Sconce, Mediocre Adjustable Arm
Note: If you are using the mountable option, the dry wall anchors provided DO NOT WORK. Make sure you have your own drywall anchors. My husband and I hung up one of two sconces. I am still excited about the lamp. It's a little larger than I imagined. The adjustable arm is not easy breezy. The twisting mechanism needs to be tightly turned to get it to hold. Maybe it is just the one I received, but FYI. The swivel function for the shade was a nice suprrise. I was excited to open up my nightstand surface area and switch to a sconce. I may use electrical cord cover and paint it the same color as the wall to deal with the dangling cord. 4 stars because it is larger than expected and I am wondering if the arm adjustable function will wear out over time.
