A: Rohto® Ice and Rohto® Cool Max contain similar, very minute menthol, which is the cooling effect. The difference in the Rohto® Ice is it contains a astringent which cleans your eyes. This might make you feel that it is more intense.

Further they cannot be used with contacts so I can only use them early in the morning before I put my contacts in or before I go to sleep at night. Would prefer ones that can be used with contacts.

It has an easy-to-control dropper so you don't use more than you need. A couple of drops of max strength and I feel relief almost immediately. What a wonderful product.

I’m 63 I work on a computer all day, and at days end, after several hours staring at a screen, my eyes are shot. They certainly don't stay as fresh as they used to! But if you don't like the cooling sensation in the eyes then this might not be for you. Because it is really cold. But it really helps when my eyes are really red or very dry. Since I wear contacts pretty much everyday I like to use these occasionally before or after i wear my contacts

Just one or two drops in each eye, and relief. I also use after smoking since my eyes get red and within a few minutes my eyes are back to white. Best drops out and no stingy or burning issues. Fits perfectly in my makeup bag or purse.

I woke up with crazy red eyes and just before I left work I popped some in and by the time i was in my car my eyes were already completely white. Had me thinking there was bleach in there haha
