Q: How should it be cleaned? It’s cotton but rope, and it’s off-white but used on the ground

A: This doorstop is 65% cotton, 15% fiber, 10% sand and 5% cotton fabric. Dust with a dry cloth or brush. For stains, use a mild soapy water solution, then wipe with a damp cloth. Air dry completely. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.

I purchased this for my bedroom door. Great purchase. Heavy enough to hold the door, even when the wind blows it doesn’t move and well made. Easy to pick up and move with the handle. I’ve had this for over a year now. I’m very happy with this door stop. Also cute design. Gives a nautical or farmhouse feel. Or just neutral. Goes with any decor.

The item description doesn't say it's "tan", but it's clearly not white. The packaging arrived with a tag saying "tan". It also had some of the rope snagged and cut, so I have to glue it back so it doesn't unravel. For $17, you get what you pay for. OK for my mudroom door since I know it's not in a nice area. If looking for a more public/formal use, might want to get something a little more expensive.
