RTIC Outdoors 32 QT Ultra-Light Hard Sided Cooler

I bought this cooler a couple of months ago and have used it a few times. I love how light it is. Very easy to carry around and keeps items cold.

Although I was happy with the cooler the drain leaks and I cannot tighten it enough to stop it.

I am loving my ice chest!! It keeps the ice for days and is very sturdy!! ❤️

Honestly the cooler performed better than I expected! 5 day in 90+ degrees and still had ice on the way home!

Taken the cooler out on 2 separate occasions. One beach trip 3 days, basically drinks and few snacks, cherries blueberries cantaloupe. Used frozen quart bottles. Second was 4 day camping trip used as food only, worked great. Ice lasted 3 days. Only issue is drains sweat. So far so good, loving it.

I was originally looking at a larger RTIC cooler but am very happy with this after using it on a couple camping trips and weekend excursions. It really holds a decent amount and is still light enough when loaded with beverages and snacks to carry and get in/out of the back of the truck or SUV. Held ice for several days and no issues with the drain plugs or seal.

the cooler doesn't hold ice nearly as long as advertised, no matter how cold the product is or how the ice is layered between the product. also, it condensates so badly that it sweats thru the plastic lined drop cloth (folded over 4 times) and is now making the backseat of my truck moldy.

I live the lightness of cooler yet its durability Took it camping for 4 days at upper 80s and it held ice well foods were still frozen into the 4th day

We ordered this cooler for a trip to Colorado. We took that trip beginning two weeks ago. The cooler has not performed as advertised. I believe there is an issue with the larger drain valve on the right hand side of the cooler (when facing the opening). It leaked several times even after hand tightening. I was finally able to get it to stop leaking by emptying the cooler and really working on getting that valve closed. I want to use your product, and I want to enjoy your product, but as of now I cannot say I would recommend or endorse this line of products to any of my contacts. I am also still waiting for the freezable insert to the available for this size model. It was not when I ordered it, and I have checked many times since then to see if they were available.

My old igloo is a lot better. Wouldn't recommend.

Even with proper pre-freezing items before putting them into the cooler, the ice maybe lasted 2-3 days max (RTIC says that this cooler can keep ice cold for up to 5 days following their tips). We have the original 45 QT cooler and the ice stays solid longer. We kept the cooler in the shade, opened it minimally. Although light, it doesn’t impress.

This is a great size cooler for 1or 2 people car camping for 3-4 nights. I love the teal color, tho if I could choose again, I’d get a lighter color that doesn’t get as hot in the sun. Still it kept things cold with block ice, tho I had lots of cold water by day 4. Get the basket!

Holds ice as stated. Looks great. The problem is the drain leaks whatever water collects in the chest. This is disappointing, especially considering the price.

we actually had trouble with the website we intended to have our writing in purple and somehow it still came out in black. That’s the only disappointment we really had.

This has been a game changer bc not so heavy and can fit through the doorway into our cabin without asking another person to assist. I also love the tray that sits inside to keep lettuce and veg from freezing. The softside cooler is perfect for picnics. I’d purchase everything again in a heartbeat. Order came timely and well packaged.

Love the cooler. It holds everything we needed and more. Ice lasted all weekend long.

Nice size and weight but ice stayed a day and a half only

I bought this for my husbands birthday gift, he works outside all day every day so I knew having access to ice cold water was going to be very beneficial for him. This cooler was pre-chilled per the directions and sits inside of his truck not exposed to any sunlight. We put in 2 large bags of ice and within 2 days or less the ice has pretty much melted, so we are buying ice way more than what I thought this cooler was capable of. The cooler has sweated so much the entire time we’ve used it, it has soaked the backseat of my husbands truck. We’ve checked the drain plugs to ensure they are screwed on tight but it still sweats a lot. This has been a not so great first experience with a cooler but maybe we are doing something wrong? The good things about it is the size. It’s big enough to hold a good amount of drinks with ice. I like the color and the bottle opener can be useful too.

Seems like a high quality cooler. Drains sweat so bad it’s like a leak. Hard to put in back of a truck with dry clothes.

Amazing. Took it camping in 80 degree weather, ice didn't melt for 6 hours. It was also in a car without a/c in 80 degree weather, so it was blisteringly hot, but the ice still didn't melt for several hours. No leak, lots of space, very durable. Held food for two people to last 3 days. Wasn't even completely full. A little heavy, but handles are nicely constructed so carrying isn't a terrible ordeal. Lid closes very effectively and very well sealed. Interesting construction with a "rubber" latch to create an airtight seal. It's nice that it doesn't need to be "snapped" shut, I feel like it's more accessible that way, and probably easier. Design is very nice, the blue color is very pleasing on the eyes.
