Their brand features the color black, as I used a sunscreen from this brand and their packaging looks similar. They try to be minimalist but informative to give the buyer enough sense of what it is and what it helps with. I like the way they design the appearance and the way its pump, only when I press the pump head does the nozzle pop out to dispense the shampoo which is cool to me. The color of the shampoo is yellowish, which initially made me think it might have a ginger scent, but it doesn't. It smells a bit like a tree and a bit sweet. The scent is not the best part for me. I like the tree scent, but the sweetness just keeps holding the tree scent back and doesn't let it spread out enough. The texture is a gel and really hard to turn into a foam texture when I scrub it on my hand, but its texture can easily change to foam when I apply it on my hair, although it does not create as much foam as other brands I have used. For the effectiveness, I do see my hair not falling off as frequently, and the shampoo creates a bit of moisture on my hair, not too much to be oily. After rinsing, I feel my hair is a little bit smooth, and when I wake up in the morning my hair is not a tangled mess like with other products I have used, which is surprising to me. Finally those benefits alone make it worth the price. I would recommend this.
