Rust-Oleum 2pk Milk Paint Venetian Yellow: Interior Chalk & Wall Paint, Water-Based, Wood Application, 275 Sq Ft Coverage

The bookshelves were black with grey shelves and doors so I just painted the black blue to make them blue and grey. It went from "I should give these away" to "these are awesome" pretty quickly.

It goes on smoothly and has great saturated color. It’s easy to clean up and doesn’t have an offensive odor. Any product that helps give life to things is a great product in my book!

It was relatively easy to work with and the project turned out well. The color was slightly more black looking than I was hoping for but it worked out really well overall. I’d use this paint again.

I am really loving Rust-Oleum milk paint for just such projects! With such minimum prep work I can easily just tackle a re-do and the rustic, textured look makes application not intimidating. I re-did a entryway table in minimal time and with minimal effort. I used the navy color and with the matte finish, it is just timeless!

The paint glides over the wood effortlessly and doesn't leave any streaks or unevenness. I didn't even need more than one coat. I love the finish of milk paint and the color is a rich deep navy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have painted a lot of furniture and tried quite a few furniture paints, so I was excited to try out Rustoleum Milk Paint. I tested this paint on a scrap of old trim with a similar finish to old wood furniture. I used the navy paint and it is much, much brighter in the can than the final color so don't be alarmed. It darkens a lot as it dries. The first coat went on smoothly with pretty good coverage. This is a buildable paint, so after the first coat of paint you could still see some of the old finish showing through. I wanted a more opaque look, so I added a second coat. Two coats was plenty to get good even coverage. I love the final look of this paint - it gives a very soft, matte finish with a very authentic vintage feel and nice depth of color. I'm definitely looking forward to using this on a future furniture project!

I got the navy paint and used it to refinish some old furniture and it looks beautiful. The color is stunning. This paint goes on smoothly and I love the finish.

I've painted for years, and often suffered poor wear or disappointing finish from trendy brands of milk paint. But Rustoleum got it right. Easy application, dries quick, and the finish gives a really lovely matte antique but sylish finish. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to durability, but believe the Rustoleum name will prove this paint worthy of my time. I did a small bed side table and a small half wall in my kitchen, and was pleased with both. (I put finishing wax over it, just because I like that.)

I also like that it is buildable for those times when you want to apply multiple coats. Super easy to work with.

It seems smoother then I expected mixed up easily as well as gave a nice finish to my project. Used a nylon brush to Paint and it seemed to go on easy enough and smoothly. The can was easy to open as well as close and the navy color is rich and a good match for my shelf cabinet in laundry room. Will definitely look to use this milk paint again in the future.
